I’m not in the habit of “trashing” businesses, mainly during these difficult times. But there’s a limit to everything. Mind you I’ve stayed at this location for over 3 Yrs. Its good location is pretty much the only good thing left. Moldy hallway carpets. Not properly maintained bathroom sinks & shower doors. But the worst scenario is when the housekeeping manager shows up to review the issues, her first words out of her mouth were inexcusable excuses! It’s sad to see people not being accountable for their lack of action. Hopefully they will invest some money to revive such a nice building to its original state
2x solo one-night stays in April 2019. The good: • Excellent location – 5-minute walk to the buzzing Larcomar open-air mall, the oceanfront, the Airport Express drop-off and pick-up point, and Paddington Bear (he, from deepest, darkest Peru); a couple of good supermarkets (Metro) are within walking distance • Great value – good price for a typical ibis room. It had a seating area, ample storage space, USB port next to the bed for charging devices, and a safe for your valuables. There was a night light in the hair drier plug, that automatically turned on when the bathroom lights were switched off • Free WiFi with good speed • The lobby has a “business” section with internet-connected computers, and reception is happy to assist with printing tickets etc. • Room service is available from the hotel restaurant, Ceviche • “15-minute satisfaction guarantee”, which sounds corny but is a promise to sort out any issue you might have within 15 minutes. And it works - someone promptly arrived to fix the room air conditioner when I called to say it wasn’t working • Hip hotel lobby and friendly staff members who speak good English • Buzzing bar and restaurant on the ground floor • Luggage storage – I was away for one night between 2 stays, and the hotel was happy to look after my bag for me • Concierge to help you get a taxi Note that the bill is in the local currency (PEN), not USD - although the confusion was caused by the website I used to make the booking, not the hotel. I recommend the ibis Larco Miraflores in Lima for its excellent location, comfortable rooms, friendly service, and great value.…
My stay at the Ibis Larco hotel is my 5th stay there in the past 2 years. I love the location and the hotel itself is wonderful. The staff could not be any better. They are helpfull and display a confidence level which assit you when being in a foreign country. The price is very satisfactory to meet my budget. I simple love the place..
I spent three nights at Ibis Lima Larco Miraflores the end of February, 2020. Yes, the rooms are small but they are clean and have the basics. Staff are terrific, being very helpful and accommodating my requests. Breakfast buffet is certainly adequate and the bartender made a dynamite pisco sour. As others have noted, the location cannot be beat. Close to shopping and several good places to eat. Just keep in mind that the Ibis brand caters to tourists. That means very good rates.
We stopped here for couple of nights, amazing location in the middle of everything and few minutes walk to the ocean. The room was ok, nothing special, typical Ibis quality. The staff is very attentive and they do speak good English. This is an absolute bonus wherever you are in Peru. The room was really small but functional, toilettries were a bit scare and of a real poor quality. Breakfast is ok but again nothing special. Over all I can't fault the hotel given the price I was charged. I would happily stay there again but bring my own toilettries.
