When you book a really expensive room at a hotel called Sheraton, you expect high quality in both rooms and service. The room with the large king-size bed and nice bathroom area is perfectly fine. A bit strange that there's only a bedside table and lamp on one side of the bed, but that's just a detail. Wifi, air conditioning, furniture, and decor are on the better end. But it's unacceptable for check-in to take over 20 minutes. The hotel's systems are too rigid, and the staff isn't competent enough. We later called and ordered an extra sheet, as we prefer to each have our own. I tried - apparently in vain - to explain to the receptionist what a sheet is. After 2 phone calls, an employee arrived with 2 notepads!! We showed him what a sheet is, and finally, the task was accomplished. If all this had happened at a cheap hotel in the provinces, we would have just laughed. But there are different expectations for a very expensive Sheraton hotel in the capital.

I have stayed at many fabulous Sheraton Hotels. This unfortunately is not one of them. Today our room was not cleaned. But my main gripe is with the Club Lounge. The food takes literally ages to be replenished They only serve Wine in the evening. I do not drink wine. there is not even beer in the fridge. It is a very very poor lounge. staff are so slow. I hate to write bad reviews but this needs addressing

Some Sheratons around the world seem a bit dated, but this one is VERY nice. They recognized my Bonboy status and treated as like royalty. The room was incredible and nice little touches like gifts of wine and deserts. We only got to stay a night but we wished we were staying a week! And such convenience to the mall which is right next door.

Nice hotel in Lima’s UNESCO World Heritage a City Center. The hotel is a little dated, but the staff and service was top. We celebrated my sister in low’s 60th birthday, and had very kindly both rooms upgraded to a Junior Suite with beautiful views over the Palacio de la Justicia and the dancing Peruvians. The room was amazing, we also enjoyed the food & drink in the Executive Lounge, however we felt there could be offered more, and more proactively by the lounge host. Red wine was the only drink available, and only on request, which is just not good enough for a hotel if that calibre. So it just needs a bit more attention to detail on food & beverage offering in the lounge, Other than that, we had an unforgettable stay and family celebration, thank you.

so it says, a high-end hotel in Lima, Peru situated just an 8-minute walk from exhibits at Museo de Arte de Lima. Ok its an 8 minute walk. High End must come with a better front desk, and although Lima is famous for food the buffet breakfeast or lunch can be somewhat sloppy and disorganized. Rooms have high mold or humid conditions, make sure you ask to view before you set up sweet dreams. Needs some work. Ok for 1 night.

We stayed here for two nights during the last leg of our Peru trip. We chose a place that was near the historic center to be close to the action, and walk, if needed, given their traffic situation. Our stay was comfortable from the time we checked-in to the time we checked-out. Our room on the 17th floor ensured that it was quiet, and fairly secluded. The design also prevented unnecessary noise. The Restaurant in the Lobby was adequate for a late-night snack and a drink. The Bartender made us some absolutely delicious Passion Fruit Pisco Sours on the first night. They do have sumptuous hot and cold Breakfast options -- that included an Omelet Station. The first day, when we had to leave for a very early morning tour to Nazca, they sent us off with a goody bag that included a lot of nice stuff, and came in handy during the long trip. The Staff is amazing. We were greeted very warmly every time we entered. They assisted us with our luggage when we checked in, and even as we checked out. Every single person was incredibly polite, courteous, helpful and attentive. The Palace of Justice is right across the street. There was a bunch of dancers on the divider, and they all looked happy to be performing at that location. There is also a Mall right next door with several restaurants and stores. Our stay was too short to check it out completely, but everything looked really nice there. Recommend this Hotel to other guests. They make you feel very welcome.

We booked 3 nights this hotel at the end of our 3 week tour of beautiful Peru to relax before returning home. The main reasons for booking were that the hotel has a pool and the location near to the historic centre. After we had checked in we went for a wander around the hotel to find the pool and found it closed. It turns out that the pool is "seasonal" and only open for 4 months of the year, December to March. We booked through Hotels.com and "seasonal" is only mentioned hidden away at the bottom of the page. Other sites show the pool facilities in a similar way. This was extremely disappointing for us. The reception and bar staff at the hotel were all really lovely, helpful and efficient Breakfast was a disgrace. No cleared tables available when we arrived at 9am and no staff around to clear a table for us. We ended up taking place settings from one table and moving them to another to make up a table for 2 for ourselves. We had to help ourselves to coffee from the staff serving station as no one was serving coffee. There was no meat of cheese at the counter just empty serving dishes. There were no pastries left just empty serving dishes again Also there were no plates under the serving area to get your food. There was an omelette chef who was doing his best but there was a massive queue given that there was little other food available. The room was OK. Quite dated but clean and maintained (apart from an empty shower gel dispenser) We had asked for a high floor room due to advice from other reviews. This turned out to be a blessing as there is a considerable amount of street noise until late in the evening. The high floor definitely helped with this and to be honest the noise is an endearing part of city life in Lima I feel that we were mislead on the pool situation, and the lack of staff at breakfast is not acceptable. Marriot brands are now firmly off my list of places to stay. There are many many better hotels out there for the price.

We booked here for a 1 night stay when we first arrived in Lima. We wanted to be close to the historic center and airport. The hotel is clean and nice but nothing spectacular. There is a mall directly next door. Going to the mall for a quick lunch and shop before our day tour was convenient.
