Walking through Country Club Lima Hotel means being a part of Lima’s history: cosmopolitan, traditional, unique. Each corner of the hotel houses a story, a legend, a mystery, as well as more than 300 works of art from the Pedro de Osma Museum, which tell the tale of the city’s past. The hotel has commenced a new phase in its history: a remodeling that emphasizes the classic architecture while highlighting a new, contemporary design tailored to the needs of the modern traveler. The result is a perfect unity of the glamour of the past and the vanguard of the present. That’s why today we are The New Classic.

The Country Club Lima Hotel boasts spacious, comfortable rooms that are often praised for their elegance, despite occasional complaints about noise and views. While opinions on value and service are mixed, with some booking challenges and room assignment issues, the hotel's meticulous cleanliness and professional staff have earned accolades.
Its prime location is a big draw for guests who enjoy proximity to golf, dining, and the Miraflores district. The amenities, including excellent dining and live music, contribute to the hotel's luxurious and relaxed atmosphere, although the breakfast and pool size have received some criticism.

The attention of all the Hotel staff is extremely cordial, the rooms are very spacious and very elegant, they check the details two or three times a day so that you do not miss anything in the room. The breakfast is very complete and very well attended, they strive to make your experience optimal, always offering complements to your buffet breakfast, which is already incredible. The gym is good and the pool is very nice!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Nelson, the concierge, went above and beyond in his recommendations and service. He arranged for tours and dinner reservations. His recommendations were perfect! The dining room staff are friendly, efficient, and accommodating. Especially Felipe and Marcos! The Piso Sour is the best in the city! The gracious head bartender allowed me to film him making one using their secret recipe. The spa is worth a visit. My husband and I went twice because we love Rosio and Paula's massages. Cyndi also gave a delightful facial. The property is beautiful. The entertainment on the weekend was terrific, especially the salsa band. My only concern was the front desk; they could have been more accommodating and friendly. We asked to change rooms upon arrival since we would be there for five days. Our room was small, a step up to the bathroom, and had a terrible view. We had to wait until the supervisors arrived at 7:30 am (after we had arrived from an all-night flight and paid for the room to have a place to sleep in the morning). The only rooms available were if we upgraded, which we did and spent the extra amount. We were shown two rooms, and one chose one. That evening, a couple from our group was given one of the rooms, and they didn't have to pay the additional amount each night. I brought this up to the front desk when we checked out, and the front desk staff didn't respond to my concerns. When I pressed her, she said nothing could be done and wasn't gracious in how she spoke to me. I was disappointed and sad since all our other experiences were exceptional.

This hotel is distinguished from others not only by the beauty of its façade, its interior and other facilities, but also by the service and friendly treatment of all its staff. From the moment you enter they make you feel very comfortable. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The restaurant and the English Bar are excellent.

Booked for our last night after a ling trip around the country, arrived and the room was facing the party of the club next door that was going in until 11pm; asked to change to a different room, after half hour had to call back and told the concierge was going to show me another room….which was in the other side but now right above another party hosted by the hotel until 11pm again! Went back to reception, the guy in charge was surprised the alternative room, which was an upgrade, wasn’t good enough and when I told him there was a hotel party going just outside he was surprised!!!! So they spent another 10 min to find an alternative and in the end settled for a room without any view and a bathroom half the size in order to avoid all the noise. From the time we checked-in a little before 8pm, got to settle in a room at 9:30pm with no offer of compensation of any kind (for the price of the room i was quite surprised, having worked at 5 stars hotels before in the USA) Breakfast was mediocre and the pool was actually empty! Granted is winter here, but still, a hotel of this level should have a pool at least mildly warmed up and fully functional Sooooooo NOT worth the price they charge! Staff though was quite nice and trying to help though they didn’t seem to have all the knowledge/power they needed to run the hotel

Do not stay at this hotel. We booked here on a pre voyage trip through Linblad/National Geographic at a hefty price. Our room smelled like damp cat urine. It had one frosted window that you wouldn’t want to open because it looked out on the service area for the hotel. Breakfast was included in the room rate, and tour guide arranged a boxed breakfast for us because of an early departure, but it was not prepared. When we told the hotel staff member at reception that we were supposed to have one, rather than making an attempt to get us some rolls from the buffet that was opening just minutes later she argued with us and the Linblad representative about whether it had been ordered. This was the worst experience I have had at a hotel of this supposed caliber. Stay far away!

Large room unfortunately - room smells of stale shower drain water. Rooms facing country club pool next door lots of loud music and noise. Room has safe, coffee maker, mini fridge, iron, ironing, board, umbrella, slippers, robes, sewing kit, shower, cap, shampoo, hairdryer, conditioner, body gel, body lotion, cotton swabs, 110 and 220 V outlets, shower only, Blackout curtains. Area around hotel seems pretty safe although not much around. Tiny swimming pool. Moderate sized gym. Great buffet breakfast.

Everything was great. The room that touched us was giant, the lobby was beautiful and during the check-in process we were given orange juice and everyone attended very well, but that night we decided to go to the bakery because we had already been to the Perroquete. At first, everything was very rich, but when I tried the pizza, I started running out of air, my eyes were watering, my face was swelling and everything was red. We had to go to the nearest clinic, which was the SANNA del Golf. There I had my blood pressure measured and I was very low, I was transferred to a stretcher and given corticosteroids. As I struggled to breathe I passed out and was almost admitted to the clinic.
I don’t eat that pizza again but that doesn’t mean that the Country Club Hotel is one of my favorites that I’ve been to Lima.

It had a gorgeous lobby, lovely bar and dining room. And that was it for me.
I had possibly the tiniest room, overlooking air conditioning ducts. The room was next to the lifts so we heard all conversations. We had to let one person pass before we could move to the other side of the room. I could almost touch the door from the bed. I stepped on the door stopper several times, and rolled my feet. There was no bar fridge. The table had a coffee maker with 4 coffee pods and 2 tea bags. Tea bags were not replenished. There were no turn down service.
The walk-in closet was tiny and dark with space for 1 luggage rack. I had to use my phone torch to look into the closet and use the room safe. Our second luggage stayed on the floor where we had to walk over it to get to the closet.
There was a message about not changing towels due to environmental concerns, yet toiletries products were single-use plastic bottles.
Turn left and left of the hotel, there is a small deli selling tapas, a small bakery and Starbucks. The shopping centre is a good 30 mins walk despite the concierge's insistence that it was nearby.
In general, it was a very disappointing room, and I would not return.

San Isidro is a quiet and well kept upscale neighborhood where you feel very safe and can make some nice walks. Also, some good restaurants are within walking distance. For me the best location for a pleasant stay in Lima.
The hotel is part of the leading hotels of the world so you expect high service level. Unfortunately the service does not always convince. There is no management attention at all, you never see a manager around taking care of the guests. The front desk staff is ok but not overly attentive nor overly friendly. The big exception is the concierge staff, they do an excellent job, really top level, always above and beyond every need you might have.
The rooms are nicely decorated and some have nice views on the golf course. They have large bathrooms and all amenities you need. Strange is that the minibar is empty, they explain it with Covid but this is a bit ridiculous.
Breakfast is good, nice buffet with a good choice. Service is ok, some waiters are doing a good job, others are not convincing.
Overall I can recommend this hotel mainly for the great location.

I was there in late September, the end of their winter. The pool was open but it was too cold to use it. Also, I never saw any children in the hotel while I was there.
There are more places to choose from in the Lima area.
