I stayed at hostal torreblanca for a layover. The rooms were clean and the showers were hot with a good shower head. The reception staff were courteous and spoke English very well. For 15 soles you can arrange to be picked up from the airport and there will be a man waiting with your name on a sign... even if...

Stayed here for 3 days and loved it. Helpful friendly staff provided tips that helped us make the most of our time in Lima. Fresh fruit, juices, eggs and a variety of pastries and bread provided a hearty start to our day. Yes the hotel is somewhat noisy due to its location, but its ideally located in Miraflores, the beds...

Not a 5-star hotel, but good value for money. The hotel is located in Miraflores, 5 min walk from the sea. The neighborhood is very clean and safe. They offer airport pickups for just 15 soles. They have a very nice buffet breakfast with lots of fresh fruits and good coffee. The staff was very helpful and gave us necessary...

To stay in Lima, have to think for a good and safe area; miraflores are little far from airport but there are so many foreign people. Torreblanca are almost near of the sea and nice to walk around in couple; I liked the area. In the hotel there are pros and cons: good water, interesting rooms but oldest, basic breakfast...

If kindness counts when you travel, and the ability to trust the services offered, you can't find a better hotel. It's not five star, or even four star, so you have to expect not to have certain things you'd find in those much pricier hotels. True, there is no air conditioning, and true there's a lot of traffic outside, which...

There's lots to like about Hostal Torreblanca, but it is right on a very busy roundabout constantly full of cars and buses honking their horns at all hours. The noise was too much for us to have our windows open, and with a broken fan, that meant stale hot air for most of the evenings. If only the building was...

Stayed here for 2 weeks during my Global Volunteer service...wow...no better way to get immersed in Lima. Everyone was willing to help by going the extra mile...which ended up being needed. Guillermo, bless his soul, picked me up at the airport with a smile and sign with my name on it...a desperately needed sight after a long trek. After 9...

I stayed here on and off for three weeks in while in Peru. It was always a welcome relief from other hotels in the country which usually had unrealized potential. For one thing Hostal Torreblanca has at least 5 different wi-fi connections. My entire trip was planned by myself and, although I printed a good chunk of my itinerary out,...

Days after returning, I am still shocked this hotel was ranked so high on TripAdvisor. The lobby and eating area were both "nice"...the actual rooms were decent but ... the carpet in the hall was old and worn, our bathroom had an open window exposing what looked like old pipes and cob webs. There is no AC and the room...

I stayed here with Team GB for the World Paddleboard Championships and had a great stay. We where in a great spot a couple of minutes walk from the beach and close to shops and places to eat. The staff where all really really nice and super helpful. The breakfast was the best I had in Peru!! My mouth is...
