Descent hotel in very convenient location within Miraflores district. One block from main street in Miraflores (Larco). Close to good restaurants and large shopping center. Rooms were good as was the breakfast. Bathroom was clean although the water was difficult to regulate (hot to cold and vice versa). Great area to walk around from the ocean to ruins.

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and well maintained but was very stuffy and warm, the food was okay but not brilliant, though I got a couple of good nights sleep there tended to be a lot of noise coming from the corridors, which made it difficult for me to sleep past 5am.... Hotel staff are friendly, property very clean and sharp looking, nice breakfast. Got a great night's rest. Located just off Larco area is quiet. Although previous reviews have noted we are rating hotel in developing country and US "star ratings" may not transfer this hotel met all my expectations and I'd definitely stay again. We stayed at another hotel in... More

I've done enough traveling to know sometimes you have to roll with it and much of the times I have to adjust my expectations. However, I didn't expect to not have running water or electricity for the better of a day. When there was running water, the water pressure was terrible and hot/cold controls were impossible to get the right... More

This hotel is in a great location, helpful and gracious staff, nice breakfast and clean comfortable rooms and beds. The Miraflores neighborhood is safe and pleasant, the rooms to thwack are quieter with a nice breeze. Good value. It is a ten minute walk to the beach and ten minute walk to the transit system to downtown....which is very nice,... More

When reviewing hotels in Peru, I remind myself that you have a different set of criteria for a developing country than you normally would. Things are glitchier. Often an elevator wasn't working, or your WIFI was patchy. That sort of thing that you get used to after awhile in Peru. Hotel JAL was well-located on a fairly busy street, but... More

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights total. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The breakfest each morning was plenty and good. I liked the location for exploring the Miraflores area and for booking day trips. Front desk staff was very helpful.

By American standards this hotel is equivalent to a Super8 at best. For Peru,it's upper scale. It has poor quality wifi and toilet paper is not to be flushed. The hotel is in a business area of Loma which is unbelievably congested with vehicles and 10 million people in this city. Bottled water is mandatory even for brushing teeth.A hot shower may be... More

Centrally located in Miraflores with a Friendly staff, and very clean rooms. Their staff does their best to accommodate any requests you may have during your visit. I Would stay here again without a doubt. Enjoyed their buffet breakfast and warm smiles.
