The hostel was clean and comfortable with a good outside area. The staff were helpful with booking things in Lima, such as taxis, and the breakfast was simple but nice. It is located in a quieter area of Miraflores, so sleeping was good, and just a small walk away from restaurants and shops. The Wi-Fi was also good.

A very pleasant Hostal with friendly and helpful staff. Situated in a quieter part of Mirafloris but still within walking distance of the main attractions. The property was clean, quiet and secure. Would use again.

Hostel is nice place with comfortable and clean rooms. Bed was really comfortable and there is a hot water. Cleaning every day. Breakfast is poor but you have egg, bread and jam, cake with coffee. It's enough for begging the day. Localisation is good - near to the bus station.

I booked this hotel because it listed "Free Parking" as an Amenity. This is not the case. As soon as I arrived I took it up the issue with the old woman at the front desk (in Spanish) and she just shrugged. "It is free to park in the street". Unfortunately this hotel has "parking" listed across the internet. This... More

Hostal Jose Luis I strongly recommend to stay if you are in Miraflores aside frm walking distance to a restaurant groceries and lot more; what I liked the most is the CLEANLINES of the room and the whole area.

Clean, friendly hostel in a good location, helpful staff made such a difference to our stay, some English spoken but they are encouraging when you try to speak Spanish too. The inside room we had was a little stuffy so we had the fan going all night, I think the rooms next to the street would be better. (The street... More

We've got a room with street views and it was clean, nice, with private bathroom and TV. The breakfast is a nice buffet. The hostel staff are extremely nice and helpful. The woman in reception even lend me her metropolitano bus card so we could use it. I really recommend this place if you want a safe cheap hostel with... More

Friendly, helpful staff and good, clean, comfortable, and affordable accommodations in a safe neighborhood (Miraflores). I tried another hostel in the area and it was awful. I stayed about a month and this is now the only accommodation I will even consider on future trips to Lima.

I was a member of the World Challenge team and we landed in Lima at 6pm on 22nd July 2014 and we arrived at the Hostel. We were greeted and shown our rooms immediately. We thought it was really comfortable and was a great relaxing way to start our expedition in Peru. Thank you Jose Luis x
