I will start by saying that the staff here were very friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for nicer people. The breakfast was good, eggs, bread, juice and coffee/tea - better than many that iv had. The location was also great, just a couple of minutes from the main park/square. The (private double) room was average, there basically wasn't...

I wish TripAdvisor allowed owners to specify the kind of free parking they offer. The House Project does indeed have free parking--on the street for cars and on their open patio for big motorbikes. Small motorbikes might be welcome inside. As I was leaving, the owner insisted that I could have parked in the adjacent secure parking garage if I...

Hi Brian how are you? Thanks for sharing your experience with other travelers and those who do it riding a bike or driving a car. As you mentioned, we do have free parking in front of the house which is public parking and a small and safe area for bikes out of the hostel and next to reception, where all...

When you arrive in a largest city it's always a little harder to find your footing. The team and owner of the house project made it easier. From the friendly welcome to the great location and good value this made our Lima stay a lot more easy.

It's an awesome house tucked in the back of all the action in Miraflores! Clean & spacious dorm. Comfortable lounging area. A bit noisy at night, so use the earplugs! Breakfast was average. They have baggage storage & the hottest receptionist in all of South America!

We will for sure improve our breakfast service in order to reach the excellence and will keep providing free earplugs at everytime to reduce the noise that comes from the street...

Me and my girlfriend have stayed here for 3 separate nights in the past 2 weeks (Aug/Sep 2014). We used this as a base for our frequent stop-overs in Lima. We normally stay in a private room but opted for 4 bed dorms here because it was substantially cheaper (roughly 40 PENs per night per person). Overall I would really...

The hosts were really nice - very welcoming. The rooms were very clean and cosy. There was some noise from outside due to it's location, close to the central of the city. All in all, worth staying there.

This is truly the best hostel I have been in my life. I would say that the best attribute they have is not even related with its facilities, but with the quality and overall kindness and attentiveness of all their staff. I was really amazed by this. Sometimes hostals and hotels forget their true purpose which is treating people as...

I stayed here with a friend and we both agreed that the genius move of the owners is that they have put money and effort into the things you really need and have left off the 'frills and extras'. The end result - excellent value for money and a great experience. The house design is great fun, the room we...

The House Project is a solid budget choice in Lima. The location, in arty, happening Miraflores, couldn't be better. If you have a problem with noise, don't stay in Miraflores! It didn't bother me, I'd rather have a central location and use earplugs for sleeping. Our room was spotlessly clean (though the bathroom smelled a bit strongly of bleach, but...

Overall the hostel is pleasant enough with nice hang out areas and its location is very good but we must have scored the worst double room in the whole place with a small poxy small bathroom and an equally poxy window with no curtain. The light shining in from outside was really annoying. I noticed the other rooms had curtains...
