During our South America tour this January, we had the pleasure of staying for three nights at the Lima Hilton Miraflores, a natural decision for a Hilton HHonors Diamond member, for which we found nothing that did not meet our expectations. We stayed in a 1 King Bed 1 Bedroom Executive Suite, which, as of size, views, comforts, decor, etc was absolutely satisfactory. We had no complaints, but only praises for the housekeeping and maintenance for servicing and cleanliness. Special mentions to the Concierge team for their professional advises and recommendations on dining, transfers (airport, city with a very good limo company) and tours. The concierge team (Mr. Mario Meza in particular) also proposed us a reliable tour agent to visit Machu Picchu - unfotunately this tour turned out to a nightmare due to the unrest at the region during our visit. High praise for the Hotel's restaurant, where we had a very good dinner, chose from a wide range of well prepared dishes and were served by friendly and professional waiters. The same restaurant served breakfast a-la-cart from a wide range of well prepared options. Wi-Fi worked fine - only minus the TV with all channels in Spanish and no English language options. Check-in and check-out procedures were swift by a friendly and professional staff. To conclude, this is a very well run hotel, recommended for a hassle-free stay in Lima.…
The service was nothing short of spectacular. Kind and attentive would be accurate descriptors of the staff. The breakfasts were wonderful and dining in the evening was equally impressive. I found the room to be spacious and comfortable. I loved the close proximity to the Pacific Ocean. Taxis were readily available, and there were many short walks to beautiful churches, cathedrals, and shopping.
Staff was very kind and willing to provide all assistance needed. Rooms comfortable, very clean and quiet. The area is very nice to walk around, safe and good places nearby. To dine, shop and even tourist attractions.
Speaking candidly, I really don’t know how anyone can complain about this hotel??? I seriously don’t…and I thoroughly can say that..since I was there for 2 months for work (with the exception of 2 weeks when I stayed a few blocks over at the Marriot). I was in Lima for 2 months for work and was actually disappointed when I heard I had to say in a hotel…as I was quick to assume that I would stay in a temporary apartment (which I initially preferred for a more homey feel..e.g.. considering the length of time I would be there). My job gave myself, and the folks that I was traveling with the option to say at the Hilton or not far at the Marriot. I am a Hilton Diamond reward member, so I of course chose the Hilton, the other folks were Marriot members so we comprised and tried both out. Everything was EXCEPTIONAL as far as the customer service my ENTIRE stay (which is a rare thing to say). They get to know you quickly and will call you by your last name in order to ensure that you receive excellent personalized service. I knew after 2 weeks there that I didn’t want to leave do to the personal touch and homey feeling that I was initially worried about; especially up at the Executive Lounge where 2 of the women (Melissa and Ytala) made sure that we had everything we needed. They even provided customize complementary drinks that we asked for on occasion and they even knew I had a food restriction (of pork) and would let me know of any food items had pork every time I entered the lounge for a quick bite. In order to be fair to my co-workers, after my first two weeks we went to the Marriot (since again they were Marriot members) and I’ll admit I was curious to see what it would be like staying there as well. Though the Marriot had an Ocean View and was overlooking the Larcomar shopping plaza we ALL decided to come back to the Hilton for the remainder of our extensive stay. There was no other customer service quite like the Hilton’s…they even went above and beyond and provided a special touch the morning of my birthday at the restaurant, delivered a slice of cake in the afternoon to my room, and provided a special treat for dinner that night (pictures included). Though the Marriot is in fact bigger, there is absolutely no comparison between the customer service that you’ll receive at the Hilton, in comparison with the Marriot’s (more aloof behavior there). I’ve stayed at many Hilton’s and I will say this was the best experience that I’ve had at ANY of them. If you visit Lima, I would unequivocally recommend staying here if you want the best customer experience service and a comfortable feeling, especially if you’re going to be in a foreign country for a long period of time. Thank you Hilton Lima for making my lengthy stay there so ideal!…
Great location, friendly staff, and incredible views with higher end amenities. The hotel was clean, organized, and a perfect spot to call home when in Lima. Will certainly return any time we visit the city.
Our trip was cut short by the political situation in Peru so we were not able to experience Machupicchu. We extended our stay at the Hilton in Miraflores and are so glad we did. The entire hotel staff was incredible going out of their way to make our stay incredible. The concierge Mario Meza was incredible and assisted us in getting updated info on the the situation in Cusco and AguasCalientes and helped with making our reservation changes. He also helped make our experience in Lima a memorable one by recommending activities and restaurants that were all amazing.
I have probably stayed at more than 50 different Hilton hotels (the specific Hilton brand, not other brands within the Hilton chain) and out of all of them I would rank Hilton Lima Miraflores near the top if not the absolute #1 of those I stayed, including some nice Hiltons in Asia which are hard to beat. Based on my stay I thought Hilton Lima was between good and great in pretty much all regards, from the quality of the room itself, the service, the food, and the lounge. We arrived at 7:30am for early check-in which was somewhat pushing the envelope. I was offered an executive room right away or an upgrade to a suite as Hilton Diamond one hour later. A one-hour wait was not that bad and we were offered to go to the lounge for breakfast while housekeeping was preparing the room which was a good gesture. I suspected the suite upgrade would be for a junior suite but to our surprise it was the more spacious one-bedroom suite which we were very pleased about. The build quality of the suite was excellent – I saw no signs of cost cutting for example some hotels nowadays have cheap furniture or thin doors, but Hilton had very nice hardware all around. The recessed lighting also gave a modern look to the room which was a plus. I would also note that there were two very good desk chairs for back support, unlike most hotels which tend to have uncomfortable chairs. The service during our stay was universally good, from front desk to the various attendants in the lounge and staff in the restaurant for breakfast as well. All of them were proactive to try to anticipate our needs and often offered little extras such as French toast given to us for takeaway when we were full and did not want to eat anymore, or the Chilcano de Pisco during happy hour in the lounge. Housekeeping was done exactly at the time we requested every morning without exception. There are other nice attentions here and there for example staff gave balloons to our daughter during breakfast and crayons in the room as well. The problem with many lounges recently is that they are overly crowded and therefore so unpleasant that I don’t even want to go, no matter how good the appetizers or drinks are. At Hilton Lima it was the complete opposite: every time we went to the lounge either for breakfast or happy hour it was very quiet, sometimes we were all alone and sometimes there were 2-6 other guests but rarely more. The food quality of the appetizers during happy hour was quite good, for the most part it was not junky fried stuff, many days they had a fish dish, chicken, or octopus for example. If there was a single area where the hotel would not score highly it would be drinks in the lounge – they had wine, beer, and pisco. However as mentioned above they prepared me a special local cocktail on some days, but nonetheless the best lounges have a broader array of liquor and cocktails. Timing of happy hour was generous 17:00-20:30 which can meet the needs of people who like to go early or late so they were flexible. As Diamond we could have breakfast either in the lounge or in the restaurant. Breakfast in the lounge was reasonably nice to begin with and they had a rotation of food every morning for a quiet time. The restaurant was a bit busier and there was no buffet at all, the menu was entirely a la carte with many interesting choices. Such an a la carte menu would be more common at some luxury hotels such as a Conrad or a Waldorf Astoria so for a Hilton brand hotel it was impressive. Overall Hilton Lima does not have many weaknesses if at all, so I would return without second thoughts and I can highly recommend it to anybody, whether Hilton Diamond or not. I wonder what is missing for this property to be upgraded from a Hilton to a Conrad. In fact I believe it might be closer to a Conrad than a Hilton in my opinion. …
The Hilton Lima Miraflores is amazing!! The folks at the reception desk were great. One woman helped me order a pizza for dinner through the RAPPI app that I downloaded on my phone (I don't speak Spanish and needed a little help). I asked here where she would order a pizza from if she were hungry and her suggestion was great! The folks who work at the restaurant during breakfast bought out a plate with sweets and sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY/FELIZ CUMPLEANOS to me on November 11. We had breakfast there every morning, and they were friendly and kept the wonderful croissants coming during every breakfast. Our room was cleaned with care during our stay. We love that they replaced our bottles of water when needed. Room service was prompt and the food was delicious and delivered hot. We have NO complaints about our stay at the Hilton Lima Mira Flores.…
We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Lima Miraflores. Everything was perfect...the room, the food and the staff. The restaurant on the first floor is excellent. The club room view is amazing and the food there is really good as well. By far the highlight of the stay was Mario, the concierge. He made sure everything was handled for us - from car service to making sure we had everything we needed in our room. He is a perfect example of what makes Hilton suich a quality experience. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Lima.
Pure Hilton experience. One of the best Hilton i have ever stayed. Excellent guest attention, great lounge, concierge’s puntuality and front desk professionality. I will always stay at this facility every Lima trip for business
