What a miserable hotel. Service is very poor. They charge you for everything, even for hot water. The only good thing is free WiFi in the lobby - everything else is poor. Hotel staff yelling at each other frequently in the lobby. The hotel staff woke me up in the middle of the night, saying "You have to pay for...

I would NOT recommend staying here except for the lovely staff, and I swear I am not a princess!! The hotel is noisy from the street and other rooms. There is smoking allowed all throughout the hotel foyer and hallways and most rooms. The WIFI they advertise DOES NOT WORK anywhere in the hotel. The linen is old and shabby,...

I recently stayed at the Hotel Regency with friends. We were visiting from America. The staff went beyond the call of duty to ensure our comfort, and they were extremely patient with our limited Spanish speaking skills. The hotel is in a safe area-Miraflores. Hotel Regency in Lima is NOT an REALLY VERY BAD hotel but it needs VERY serious improvements.. SO WATCH OUT!!! Regency advertises access to INTERNET - but it provides NO INTERNET! It advertises spacious rooms, but when you purchase a "standard" room, you do NOT get a spacious room at all.. It advertises with photos of their SUITE (room 101)...
