We started at the Marriott, where my company had booked a room. But, the Second Home was recommended by a local colleague. What a wonderful difference. This lovely old home is about 100 years old, situated on a cliff overlooking the ocean and in the middle of the arts district. It is truly one of a kind. There are lovely...

Staying here was the highlight of our Lima visit. We had a family suite and friends had an ocean view room. We thought the Barranco area generally was a little disappointing but then we ventured further in to the CBD and realised that the sleepy hamlet was in fact it's blessing. Its only when you venture out into Lima that...

My husband and I stayed at Second Home while on our honeymoon. The property is beautiful and a lot of fun to be on with all of the art to explore! The rooms, while basic are very clean and fit with the artistic sense. The hotel is down a quite alley way and just two blocks from the best parts...

An amazing place to stay by the ocean after 30 hours of travel. Impeccably clean, fantastic views of the Pacific, a massive room and very comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and attentive, bought me a heater without asking, cooked a delicious breakfast. It is a beautiful house with amazing artwork everywhere, especially loved the sculptures of animals in the garden....

My daughter and I were delighted with Second Home. It's actually more of a complex than a single building, with a few inner courtyards and throughout were incredible pieces of art by Victor Delfin. He is an amazing artist who works in a variety of mediums, and we later found that our favorite park in Lima (Parque de Amor in...

Second Home in Barranco, Lima is an awesome hotel. It has shades of Victor Delfin's artistic style and truly a second home. The rooms are spacious and nicely done. The old style charm with modern facilities truly makes it a great place to unwind. We had a room which was a step lower overlooking the ocean and the studio of...

We spent the last three night of our visit to Peru in this excellent location and it was a real treat. This luxurious but affordable place is filled with of Victor Delfin (85) one of the best known Peruvian sculptors. It is like staying at the museum, very nice! The art is all around, in the rooms, hallways, kitchen, yard....

Upon arrival in Lima in mid-May, we were met by Mr. Fernandez, a jolly fellow and driver sent by Second Home Peru, who quickly gathered us up and delivered us safely to the former Tudor-style mansion home of Peru’s renowned artist, Victor Delfin. Mr. Delfin’s daughter, Lilian, now runs the home and has converted it into a lovely B&B/art museum,...

We stayed at this bed and breakfast in between flights. We stayed in the ocean view room and a room looking out into the garden. Very clean rooms and nice balconies. Good breakfast. We arranged airport transfer through them, but it was not included in the price. Very good service. Bathrooms are not in a separate room in the room,...

This hotel has the best views in Lima. Our room was not only a good size, but very clean. The deck is a great place to relax with a cocktail. We were surprised that we could hear the ocean over the traffic...made it very easy to go to sleep. Lillian and her staff were extremely helpful. Anytime we had questions,...
