Unfortunately, we had a horrible experience at this hotel and can't recommend it to anyone. We were also booked here by G Adventures and had decided to stay a couple of days extra in Lima. We tried to change hotels but were told it was already payed for and could therefore not be changed. First, there were no towels when...

I stayed at Hotel Monte Real for one night at the beginning of a 10 day tour leaving from Lima, Peru. The hotel was the choice of a Tour Company as a starting point and not my choice. The building looks nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. A few things should be addressed to make a stay at...

Stayed here with a G Adventures tour. First night around 3 a.m. the hotel security guard let some drunk guy into our room. We're asleep in bed, and actually had to argue that it was in fact our room. Next day staff was mildly apologetic. Not feeling safe and secure in your room totally overrules anything positive about the hotel.

My friend Fiona and I had an amazing trip here. The staff were super helpful really a great addition to the lovely hotel. Especially Francecso and all the guys in reception area. Lima is a big city and we were nervous that it is not the safest place for 2 girls but we felt at ease all the time as they...

Stayed in this hotel at both the start and end of a group trip with Explore Holidays. Hotel is dated and smells of damp. Wifi probably worked only half the time we were there - on arrival we were told this was because there had been a major power cut the previous day but there was the same problem two...

This hotel is clean and in a good location in Peru. However, it was all a bit of a shambles after that. When we arrived, the credit card machine wasn't working. The room key wasn't working and more importantly, the safe key wasn't working. At 1:30am someone came into my room. I think it was the porter who didn't realise...

Like so many others I stay here as part of a G Adventures tour. I arrived in the middle of the night and when I got out of the elevator to go to my room I found myself in complete darkness. I stumble around for awhile until I trip the motion detector and the lights came on . It would...

I stayed while on a G-Adventures tour, we found as others have, that the rooms need daily airing. I talked to management, this is due to the plumbing in the country, where no paper goes in the toilet. This of course leads to odour problems. Over-all, the hotel really is quite nice, aside from this problem. It is very close...

Very clean, staff helpful and close enough to coast to walk to. Breakfast is the usual for Peru, bun, sliced ham or salami, cheese, jam. Rooms were small but this is the norm for this price hotel. Restaurant had basis menu for other meals. Good restaurants walking distance. We walked from Inca Market to hotel down main road. Took 30...
