I was traveling solo and decided to stay here for one night before a flight. Booking, arrival and check in were smooth. It was a terrible idea! I was not expecting such a young, unruly crowd to be also staying there drinking all night. It was like a frat house. I did not sleep a wink. Thank god I had...

Communication from the hostel in advance of our arrival was excellent. Chris arranged a pick up for us from the airport which went without a hitch. We had a private room and private bathroom, room had a locker and we could get wifi by just stepping outside our room which was on the top floor. There was a computer to...

and the staff down right rude. We each pre-arranged airport pick up, but my luggage was lost and the driver left before I got through customs. The next day's driver left before my friend got through, although no luggage was lost. No big deal. We are seasoned travelers. Green Taxi got us each there. When we mentioned not being picked...

This hostel is located right by bunches of cool restaurants in Barranco and really close to the beach. There's a great view from some of the upstairs rooms. Breakfast is served to you in a café area. They give you a banana, bread with butter and jam, and instant coffee. It was pretty muggy in the #1 room on the...

I loved this place! The location is perfect and the it has very chill homy vibes. The staff was somewhat annoying, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. The beer was cheap and the rooms were nice.

Great hostel close to the action in town and very close to the beach. The owner is friendly and his staff are very accommodating. Would give 5 stars but it is loud. Not a party spot but voices and slamming doors kept us up at night.

This is a great, inexpensive hostel in Barranco. Barranco is a great barrio in Lima full of excellent restaurants, bars & clubs. The Inn is situated on the palisade and many of the rooms have a view of the Pacific. The owner, Chris is very friendly & helpful. Unfortunately, the paid staff was downright unfriendly. Too bad because I would...

Nice hostel, great value, and extremely hospitable staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Hot Showers. Full kitchen available for guests. The courtyard is a great place to enjoy a beer (which they have available there). And the location is in a safe area and a short walk away from the ocean. It is much cheaper than trying to stay...

We spent 2 nights at Barranco's in October. The first night was in a twin that was comfortable with a decent bathroom, our other night was in a 6 bed 'delux' dorm which again had comfortable beds and a decent bathroom. The only issue we had with the rooms was with closing the windows, which didn't seem to shut properly,...

I enjoyed this Backpackers. Only spent one night there but the rooms were clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The location is great, there are great restaurants nearby. The breakfast was basic but sufficient.
