This was the Machu Picchu accommodation chosen for one night as part of our four-day Inka Jungle Trail. As such, I can only imagine that it is a cheap option, as it has little else to recommend it. The building, like many in Aguas Calientes, is of poor design and workmanship, with a small lobby area that got extremely busy,...

We stayed here as part of a tour. The main issue was it has the thinest walls and floors in the world. We could hear sneezes, coins dropping, beds moving and bags opening from all directions as if they were in our room. The bed was average, but it, the room and bathroom were reasonably clean. Rooms are very insecure...

We had a room upstairs from the lobby. Since there was a gap above the door (of 30cm high), we could enjoy everything going on in the lobby. There was a window to the hallway, and the curtain let in plenty of light, not that it mattered, since there was no curtain in front of the gap above the door....

We stayed here for 1 night before going to Machu Picchu and it was very basic, but pretty clean. The shower was hot and bed was decent. The only issue is that is was very noisy at night and a bit tough to fall asleep. The walls are also very thin so you can hear people in the other rooms...

The location is good but the hotel is very basic. The shower works well and has hot water that is not electric, which is very nice. They gave me a double even though I was alone so I had a big room. The biggest problem is the incredibly high noise level. My room was right next to the lobby and...

We stayed here as part of a trekking tour, so I’m not sure of the price. All I can say is that it was by far the best accommodation we had over the four nights. Situated in the middle of town, it is not luxury, the room was small, but the bed was comfortable, a shower curtain in the bathroom,...

My partner and I stayed here for her birthday taking in Machu Picchu on the big day. Great place to stay good rooms and clean with hot water. We arrived late at night with no room booked and the guys who ran it were really good to us they were very polite and helpful

Luckily we were here for only one night. We arrived on the late train from Ollantatamba and the lady on reception could not have been less welcoming. The trouble, I suspect, is that most guests only stay for one night to see Machu Pichu so there is no incentive to give good customer service. The room was "basic" and the...
