Pros: Room was large and clean, had a decent bathroom and cable TV, in the centre of town though it's a small place. Cons: Very noisy, I felt like I was on the dance floor as I was trying to sleep. Staff refused to serve breakfast before 5am despite everyone being there for machu picchu which needs an earlier breakfast,...

We paid s/40 per person to stay in a private room with private bathroom, breakfast (typical peruvian breakfast) included from 4:20am to 7:00am which is perfect when you wanna walk to the macchu picchu. We had plenty of hot water to take showers and the wifi worked great. The hostal is quite far from the plaza, on the top of...

We ended up staying here one night as the place our tourism agency had picked was overbooked so we were moved here. We didnt find this out until we arrived at the train station. The rooms are very unpleasant, wifi doesnt work in them (only in reception), the showers are terrible, the service very bad (though the short guy working...

When we got there, there was no water!! If you think I am saying no hot water you misunderstood! There was literally no water at all at the hostal! We payed about 60 dollars and didn't even have water to brush our teeth! The staff was very rude, and refused to refund one cent of our money! There were a...

We got the hotel in a tour but it was very bad. In 12 rooms we got in the group all of them were dirty, including hair and sand in the beds. Also in the day we got there there no hot water. Do not recommend

We ended up staying here as part of a tour organises by bamba. It was awful. Just avoid it!! We arrived in the dark and were escorted from the station to the hostel. It was dark dingy and very unsecure. I'm sure we were the only people in it yet we were on the 3 floor? The room was damp,...

We stayed here as part of the Salkantay Trek to Machu Piccu. I wish we would have had a choice with the tour operator to upgrade lodgings, but we didn't. I have to say we trekked with two European ladies who thought this place was nice, but we found it barely adequate. The curtains let nearly all the light in...

We stayed with Puna Inn as part of our paid trek to Machu Picchu. We found the staff to be incredibly rude and unhelpful. They took our passports and refused to give back as their photocopier wasn't working even though they were aware we had to get up at 3.45 for our walk to Machu Picchu. In the morning there...
