I stayed at Casa de Wow for one night as a stop-over from Aguas Calientes. I arrived at the front door pretty late at night, knocked and was greeted by Wow, who immediately welcomed me in. I had emailed a request for a room about a month prior to arriving and was sent a confirmation email from the owner at...

Small rooms, quirky set up, uncomfortable to navigate small spaces especially with luggage. Shared bathroom with four rooms. The place was clean, people friendly, and nice views of the ruins. But this place has seen better days and was perhaps at its prime in the backpacking days of yesteryear.

Casa de Wow was exactly what we were hoping for out of our stay in the Sacred Valley. Winn and Wow are incredibly gracious hosts who are doing so many good things in the world. We quickly became friends and will cherish our time at their sweet casa forever. Located on a quiet street in Ollantaytambo, Casa de Wow has...

Casa de Wow was an interesting place. The prices are fantastic for Ollyantambo. A woman named Win owns runs the place. She’s from the US and her husband is Peruvian and named "Wow". She really could not have been more welcoming than she was. The rooms all have windows that face the interior small courtyard of the house. Some rooms...

Although we missed meeting Winn and Wow during our stay, the charming couple, Chelsea and Adam, who were helping out were just wonderful! Upon check in, we enjoyed a nice cup of tea and were given some fabulous information to help make our stay in Ollantaytambo as best it could be. Chelsea mentioned the best times to visit the ruins...

I stayed here 2 nights, in a private room. The location is quite and tranquil. The beds are handmade and the rooms are artsy. I loved the vibe and the people I met. Chill, spiritual folk. I'd love to return for a longer period to see all that the Sacred Valley has to offer! Definitely recommend.

enjoyed a beautiful experience with warm hospitality. Our family found climbing to the upper bunks to be a slight challenge, but the experience of being in such a fascinating home dispelled the challenges.

Casa de Wow is a special place - a physical and emotional home. It's cozy, with beautiful home made beds, a comfy living room and delicious breakfasts. The best part, though, is the owners Winn and Wow. They make you feel like part of their family and teach you about the spiritual side of the Incas, in a love for...

My friend and I stayed 2 nights in Casa de Wow and we absolutely loved it!! The hostel was very artfully decorated, and all the beds were constructed in a really creative and cool way. Winn and Wow were so friendly and accommodating, we actually felt like we were staying at a friendly relative's place rather than in a hostel....

The first thing that makes this place special is meeting Winn. Immediately, you feel welcomed into this beautiful home by this wonderful woman with all her love and kindness. Next, you get to see your room with it's amazing wood work done by Roberto (Wow). Finally, you get a lay of the land with an excellent map full of great...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Best of Both Worlds is what you get at Casa de Wow!!! Created by Winn and Wow - a North American woman (Atlanta, GA & Asheville, NC) and a South American man (Ollantaytambo) - one might call Casa de Wow!!! a cultural bridge providing its guests with a unique and enriching experience. The comfort and luxuries of the North are combined with the relaxed down-to-earth atmosphere of Peru, in particular the tranquility of Ollantaytambo and the creativity of Wow, who is an incredible artist (thus the nickname). So come join us..... and relax, as you sit atop our eucalyptus benches listening to the running waters of the Inkan aqueducts while you marvel at the stunning view of the ancient Inkan monuments. The location of our Casa is ideally situated on a cobblestone pedestrian street in the "old town" section of Ollantaytambo, just five minutes from the Plaza and all attractions. In the morning, enjoy a tasty breakfast including local organic jams. During the day, we'd be happy to help you organize unique excursions to magical local sites that are off the beaten path. In the evening, enjoy a cup of warm tea from our kitchen, watch a DVD in our cozy living room or gaze at the stars from our rooftop nook. Finally, retire to our beautiful and traditional Wow-crafted beds for a good night's sleep. Once you've stayed with us you will know why we're called "Casa de Wow!!!" ... more   less
