OMG this gorgeous resort was a piece of heaven in Peru. It was brand new, exceptionally clean, stunning location facing the river and mountains. The staff wrre so incredibly kind and sweet and the foid they made from scratch was gourmet. This was my favourite place hands down for my three week stay in Peru. Stunning

A great place to stay in Urubamba, with absolutely beautiful gardens and very tranquil. It wasn´t necessarily the easiest to find for our taxi driver, but we made it. We arrived late and hungry, and Ruben made sure that we got a nice hot meal and visited with us while we dined. Breakfast was also delicious. The rooms are lovely...

Twelve years ago I was in Peru with a group, and saw the beginnings of Ruben building this sanctuary. Now here I was again with a group seeing the finished Hotel. It is truly a place of peace, calm and meditation. From the best food we had in Peru, to the best view. We were surrounded by beautiful fruit trees,...

This is a nice, quiet refuge from the dusty bustle of downtown. But surprisingly, I was not given any info whatsoever on the spa or such amenities -- only learned about it thru trip advisor! Tip: make sure you take the address for taxis to find it. It is outside of town and a fairly long walk from most places...

This was the second best hotel we stayed in Peru during our vacation. Rubin was very outgoing and knowledgeable. When my wife fell he personally escorted us to the local clinic and was extremely helpful. It was the most relaxed we had been during our vacation. The dinner we had was very good. I couldn't ask for better treatment and...

I highly recommend this hotel property. From the moment I walked down the path into the garden area, I knew I was in for a treat. I loved laying in the hammock watching the hummingbirds and listening to the sound of the stream. It was so peaceful and Ruben and Lalli make you feel so welcome. The amenities are good...

Illarimuy is a peaceful beautifully kept place . The owners Rubens and Lalli were great. Rubens is a world famous archaeologist and we did not know that until we stayed with him....

An absolute sanctuary in the middle of the sacred valley. Walk through the front door, leave the dusty street behind, and enter a beautiful and tranquil haven. All staff are warm, friendly and helpful. Ruben, the owner, is a bundle of warmth and smiles and is wonderfully accommodating. If you need any advice about where to go and what to...

Out of all the places we stayed in Peru this was a true heavenly Oasis in the middle of the Sacred Valley. Family owned and run, the exterior hides beautiful gardens, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms with high quality linens and soaps. Fresh juices for breakfast, and they will cook dinner to order. Wish we could have stayed longer! Ask them...
