I spent ten days based here while on a retreat, and was wonderfully impressed on the first day by the creative character of the whole place. Over the time we spent there I came to appreciate it even more. The new management appears to be really setting the place up as a warm and comfortable retreat space.

Great place to stay in the Sacred Valley area, easy to get to all the Inca sites and Macchu Picchu. Hotel has character, comfortable beds and very nice breakfast room. Slightly away from the town centre but a scenic walk down to town and plenty of economic transport available too, lots of really good hikes/walks in the immediate area.

I'm not sure why this place had such bad reviews. I had a very pleasant time there. It's out of the way of the central area so it's quiet and more integrated into the community. The grounds are beautiful and the new managers are putting in time to restore the areas that had fallen off. There wasn't water in the...

All I can say is WOW! I lead spiritual groups to Peru and have visited many places but this by far is the most beautiful sacred place I ever stayed. My group loved the atmosphere and food. The hosts were kind and accommodating. I will be returning with another group this year. If you ever need a place to stay...

The beautiful magical resort must have been fantastic a while back. Now there is no hot water most of the time and two out of 11 days no water at all! Loved the sculptures and flowers and hummingbirds but not the empty swimming pool or the tarantula in the room. Could be restored to its original beauty if someone puts...

I had a similar experience and heard similar stories of other people with the casa de campo hotels in Cusco and Urubamba. Their Cusco location is at a very difficult location, far away, and there are far to many steps to get upstairs. It's impossible to find a taxi in front of the door. On top of that, the rooms...

Me and my husband booked a room in this hotel in Urubamba. I called that we were going to be there at 8 p.m. At that time nobody expected us in Urubamba because the phone number from the website of Urubamba hotel has the number of the hotel in Cusco so I was callin Cusco instead. Then they promissed us...
