Sonesta Posadas del Inca Yucay was such a pleasant respite experience. The setting is lovely, all the food served to us was wonderful and the service was uncompromising! It is quiet elegance; I loved waking up and just being there!

When i first went to the sacred valley i had to decide between two hotels, Casa Andina private collection and Sonesta Posadas, definetly the right decision was Sonesta Posadas, above all for the location. Yucay is a pinturesque town in the Sacred Valley, near Urubamba, and pisaq, you can establish your operation base here.

Gardens were great. Food in restaurants excellent especially the pizza. Staff very helpful, cooperative and ally's smiling. Only thing missing was a refrigerator in the room. The women selling local wares were nice and not pushy.

Housed in an 18th century monastery, the hotel is a great place to relax before and after climbing the ruins of Ollanntaytambo and exploring the markets of the Sacred Valley. The rooms are located in 2 story buildings surrounded by gardens. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. There are a few alpacas in residence and vendors selling local crafts in...

This was an extremely beautiful property in the Sacred Valley while we visited Machu Picchu. Beautiful grounds, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent variety of dining locations, a quaint lobby bar and well appointed rooms, well kept and the ones overlooking the courtyard (ours) had a spectacular view of the mountains in the background. Well worth the stay.
