The gardens of this hotel are stunning as is the location, right in the heart of the Sacred Valley. The rooms are set out on two floors with galleries overlooking the gardens They were well appointed, with an old colonial style, rustic charm to them. Beds were extremely comfortable. Food in the restaurant, and for breakfast were also very good,...

Situated in a most stunning setting, the hotel is located in the middle of the Sacred Valley in the village of Yucan. This former monastery is built in the traditional colonial style and surrounded by beautiful gardens and courtyards with pleasing views of the nearby hills. During a recent tour of the Sacred Valley we enjoyed two nights at this charming, old monastery which has been exquisitely converted to a hotel. Stunning, well manicured grounds add to the charm of this enclave. Our room was large with ample room allowing for two beds, table and chairs, wardrobe and a chest of drawers which doubled as a...

We stayed at Sonesta while visiting the Sacred Valley and from what we saw this is the nicest hotel in the area. The grounds are simply lovely with flowers everywhere and a colourful little church in the courtyard. It is nestled between the mountains and in a perfect location in the middle of the Sacred Valley. It even had it...

We stayed here with our tour group for 2 nights, and we thought it was a very interesting place with a nice restaurant. We were in the old section, where many nuns once lived, and outside the rooms, there is a plaque that tells the name of the nun who used to live there. The restaurant was very good--we had...

I had 2 nights here booked by my tour company and I somehow failed to look up the place before I arrived. First impressions were frankly amazing. The gardens and lay-out are beautiful and impeccable and an entirely relaxing experience. The room was in the old part of the monastery complex and windowless (a single). That actually didn't worry me...
