Their Hula Bar out the back has an all day happy hour - $3.50 for beers, wines and spirits. You are sitting outside looking over the ocean, so beautiful. If you are there in the evening you can enjoy a sunset into the sea while eating a marlin and mango pizza or a perfectly cooked steak. The women in the...

Perfect place to laze away an hour or 4 while you wait for a flight. Across the road from the airport. Walking distance - easy! Good food, cheap drinks and great position sitting right in front of the water.

We did not stay here, but visited often (happy hour). We did have lunch, forgot to pay the bill. We were contacted at our resort. We were not embarrassed because it was an honest mistake and treated accordingly. Prior to our departure we checked our luggage and walked back (just across the road) for the Tuesday night performance. Absolute treat,...

We knew the Islander was just across the road from the airport, so we thought it would be a great place to kill some time before check-in. Whilst the weather wasn't very pleasant, the Hula Bar certainly was...on a good day in the sun, the view would be cheerier, but even so, we enjoyed it. Cheap drinks all day, good...

By far the best service i have ever experienced in my life. The hotel complex is affordable and very roomy. From a person who dislikes heat 24/7, the aircon in the room immediately grabbed my gratitude! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We left the Islander hotel feeling not like tourists but feeling like family and we were extremely...

We arrived at 9am knowing that our check in wasn't until 2pm, but the staff so easily accommodated by taking our luggage and locking it away, then bundling us on to a complimentary shuttle to the markets. The driver had us let him know when we'd like to be picked up and after a morning of delicious food and beating...

I went to the Hotel in transit before a 4pm flight and was immediately grateful to get rid of my suitcase. Went outside and had some beers at Hula Bar which overlooks the beautiful ocean.
