The first thing you should know about Mango Bay is that it's a little isolated- down a dirt road and one hour's drive from Sigatoka. Organizing transport is difficult unless you have a tour bus/shuttle picking you up for day trips. When asking how to get to our next resort the staff told us to wait on the side of...

Bula JosieGrossie, Thank you very much for your feedback. It always counts what our guest think and it gives us a chance to keep improving our service. Usually transfers are easily organized if you contact the resort prior to arrival. If coming by local bus it is advisable to contact the resort so we have our complimentary shuttle pick the...

I stayed here for a month in November and loved it. It is dubbed a 'flashpacker resort' - an upscale backpacker resort, and definitely lives up to its name. I stayed in a dorm style room in a bure that was clean and perfect for a solo traveller. The restaurant is right on the beach with a pool and gorgeous...

Recently stayed at Mango Bay Resort in one of their beach side bures. The bure was just metres from the beach and extremely peaceful. Although a small resort compared to other resorts close by it was a more authentic taste of Fiji. Had the opportunity to visit the local village and meet some of the local people and there was...

My husband and I spent a week at Mango Bay April 2013 and instantly felt like one of the family. Danny, Elizabeth and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming that we felt right at home. We stayed in a beach front bure which was literally meters from stunning white sand and clear aqua water,You could snorkel right off...

My wife and I visited Mango Bay resort april 2013 on a scuba trip. The diving was great, we saw large turtles, reef sharks and a short boat ride from the hotel. The staff was great as well! Dive master Kris gave us a video of us and a rare Guitar shark we saw on one dive. The restaurant served...

It might be great for the young.....The Beach Front bure was small and tired, no tea/coffee making facilities, no fridge and NO HOT WATER in the outdoor shower. Over priced. We won't be back. Danny and the Staff were great, the fishing is way too expensive.

Stayed at this SUPPOSED RESORT.......nothing like the pictures, hasn't had any maintenance since the day it was built, by the looks of it. Where do I start......? We had a Beachfront Bure, the most expensive type of room at this "Resort". No security whatsoever. The staff gave us a padlock which was to be used on a small wooden box...

We stayed at Mango in March with FeeJee Experience. It was very nice. They upgraded us to an ocean view room. It had an ensuite and outside shower. It was clean and very lovely. The pool was nice and restaurant was great. They had a complimentary Kava Ceremony. It was very fun. The beach was also very good.

Being a senior solo traveller I was a bit aprehensive, but no need. Lovely friendly staff, and lots of activities, many of which were free. Even though I wasn't up to the kayaks and diving, I still did lots. Learnt to make Kokonda (fish in lime juice), attended a kava ceremony, had a massage, fed the fishes, watched the crab...

Stay somewhere else. This place is nowhere near ANYTHING. The staff seem nice but you get the feeling they just want your money and just want 'special time' with the women if you know what I mean..l The only thing good about it is how cheap it is to stay at. Mosquitos everywhere, frogs everywhere. Looks nothing like the photos.....
