A hidden place in Lami, not far from Suva! A stunning view of Suva bay, a house full of beautifull objects, good bedding, very nice and confortable rooms. Breakfast near the swimmingpool! Free internet, nothing bad to say. Unless you really want a homestay, because you will rarely meet the owner ...

I have stayed at Vale Ni Tadra Homestay a number of times and I have never been disappointed! Situated in Lami town (about 10 minutes from Suva city), with a majestic view overlooking the Suva harbour, the accommodation is beautifully appointed, the staff can't do enough for you and the hostess, Sangeeta, exemplifies South Pacific Hospitality. She also has an...

It was terrible. Could not find the place and when we finally did, we couldn't get in. We had to drive down the road to Novetel Hotel to ask them to let us in. When we finally got in to the house, we decided this was not for us and asked for a refund. The owner hung up on me....

When the taxi driver dropped us off I was a little concerned as the place looked deserted. However after opening the gate we were enthusiastically welcomed by the dog and when we knocked on the door Shabnam too welcomed us. Our room was upstairs with extensive ocean views and Suva. The house has about 6 large bedrooms, most with views...

I came back and forth over a period of two hours, and during that time, no sign of life. the gates were locked, there was no way into the property, there was no bell to ring. The house looked empty...

Beautiful rooms with nothing too much trouble. I will stay with the friendly folk at Vale Ni Tadra again. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the water with other guests.... great start to each day. Everything is tastefully decorated with good attention to detail down to the old bookcase full of interesting books for you to read during your stay.

While staying at Vale Ni Tadra, I was pleasantly surprised and consistently impressed by how Sangeeta (who runs the homestay) and Shabnam (who helps with the day-to-day operations) went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and welcome. As others have mentioned, the rate included breakfast in the morning (with cappuccino no less), laundry service, and no shortage...

A beautiful house to stay in with lovely surrounds and a superb host. Be sure to ask Sangeeta about the Lobster that was caught fresh that morning and prepared in her restaurant... Simply amazing! I can't wait to come back :)

I have been staying at Sangeeta's guest house for the last 2.5 years when I am in Suva for work. It has become like my home away from home and I love being able to come here and relax in a true home enviroment. The rooms are always fresh and clean, with the front rooms having amazing views over the...

“Rooms by the ocean are very nice with french doors leading to the common balcony/roofed veranda, but does not have much privacy when guests are around (you can draw the curtains in). Garden rooms are smaller but nice - you can hear the street noise if you do not use the aircon and draw the curtains in.”
