I usually visit Papeete for the Heiva festival and have always enjoyed my stay at this hotel. This morning I received notice from Qantas that my reservation had been cancelled. They offered some alternative hotels. I have tried to telephone the hotel without success. I also notice that booking websites are not showing any availability.

Not friendly staff they admitted they prefer to deal with French speaking guests. Bed was very hard, furniture in room was very dated. Only had one key for the room and air conditioning went off automatically when we left the room making it very warm to return too.

Stayed two nights awaiting the arrival of our adult children from Oregon for an island hopping holiday. The Tahiti Nui is not a bad hotel certainly a good 3 star property. As it was off season with good rates we splurged out on a junior suite – spacious, well laid out and quite comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful if...

We had a pre-paid reservation for this hotel and when we showed up, there was a note on the door that they were closed for construction due to a flood. They did not make any attempt to call us or re-accommodate us at another hotel, so we were forced to pay for another cab to another hotel and pay a...

We did this hotel after a cruise. It had solid internet, a nice room and great view of the ocean. The food was expensive with no alternative, but that's pretty normal in Tahiti. We felt well cared for.

We returned from a cruise Mon 23 Jan 2017 after the town had been flooded and were unable to get into our already paid for room. The manager eventually found us another hotel out of town but said we'd have to contact our travel agent for a refund. Neither the wholesaler nor Flight Centre have been able to contact the...

The room is nice, the pool lacks maintenance, the restaurant is expensive although is quite good. In the evening I didn't like the area for walking. There is a gas station near by in case you need to grab something to drink or eat.

We came back expecting to spend 4 days in the hotel before retuning home. While on the cruise the hotel closed leaving us stranded. There was not one hotel room in all of Payette. We thought we might have to sleep in a park. We are both in our 70s it is a bit late for sleeping on the street....

Staying here for 6 nights which is probably 3-4 nights too long. Upgraded to a junior suite which is spacious. TV is limited with only 6 channels of which 5 are French and CNN is the only English speaking one. No on demand movies. Spa might be nice but near impossible to get a booking. Restaurant has excellent food though...

We came here for one night since we had to pass through Tahiti before we caught the ferry next morning. I was quite surprised there was no one that could help with the bags at the front desk. We had to take our own luggage trolley and load it ourselves to the room. This is a bit surprising with the...
