        I spent most of my time in Pyongyang staying at the Yanggakdo Hotel, which has nicer rooms and a lot of activities to do (karaoke, bowling, ping pong, etc.). The Youth Hotel is the more budget option, and unfortunately you get what you pay for....More

        The hotel is very basic. There were power outages during our stay but they didn't last long. The furnishing of course is dated but this is North Korea. There's a hot water flask in the room but no tea or coffee provided. Breakfast was better...More

        Great pool, chinese-harder-than-diamond mattress, most of the elevator are not working and that make a mess on rush hour in the morning. North-korea's most boring food. Hot water avalaible once every few days, quite a lot to do in the lobby considering the global quality...More

        Im guessing that this hotel is pretty much that same as every other hotel in Pyongyang. Lobby was nice. Full of marble. But the rooms were basic but ok. Very uncomfortable beds and pillows. I doubt you will have any choice of your hotel unless...More
