Initial impression of this hotel was not very good during check-in as you could tell that this is a very old hotel. Receptionist staff was however friendly and helpful. Unlike many hotels in Asia, this hotel does not come with water kettle, slippers and toothbrush kit etc. For those with sinus or sensitive nose/ lungs, you have to be careful...

I stayed there for 4 nights. The hotel itself is near the center..and the Old bazar is within walking distance. The hotel looks and it is old, but if you stay there just to sleep it is ok. The brekfast is decent but you struggle the first day to find the restorant. Hotrl near shopping centers where you can exchange...

The hotel was built for the Winter Olympic Games 1984 which you will notice on the entrance and the reception (flag signed by J.A. Samaranch himself). At that time it was probably one of the best, however it does require renovation. The furniture in the rooms is old, however the rooms are very neat and clean. The staff is very...

We stayed in this hotel a few fimes. Every time the same- good awerage hotel. Everything was good and awerage -bed, bathroom. cleanness. From the window we saw just the wall but we did not mind. It is close to the airport so you can hear and feel every landing and take off. We felt an earthquake too and it...

We decided to stay at this hotel, as it has historic value, Holiday Inn is a part of Bosnian History. Staff is really kind and helpful, which compensates for desperately needed reconstruction of the interior. Rooms are clean, but you the furniture is really shabby and brown tiles in the bathroom give you the feeling that nothing has changes since...

This legendary hotel is slowly losing its glow. Room needed renovation. Showers rather than baths. Does not allow individual temperature setting in the room. Internet connection is slow. Our room looked onto the main road, poorly insulated window let considerable noise inside, unfortunately, especially at night. To compensate: reception and main entrance make a good impression as well as a...

Past its prime but still worth a visit. Good service, could go to the pool at other hotel when they're one was under reconstruction. Breakfast 3/5, no bacon 😐 Smoking allowed inside so perfect to light one up after.

We were greeted with heavy construction noise early in the morning days in a row. Although we complained, nothing was changed. And they did not mention it when we arrived. The wifi internet room signal was pathetic. I had to send emails from the lobby.

Past its prime, but we stayed due to its excellent location, reasonable rates and friendly staff.Home to the foreign press during the way, there is many a tale that involves this centrally located hotel in this fascinating town.

I ended up staying at the old Holiday Inn for a couple of nights in November after a fall had left me incapacitated and unable to return to my 4th floor apartment elsewhere in the city. I arrived at the hotel about 4.30 in the morning and was assisted to my room where I stayed for the next 30 hours...
