It was a great vacation the hotel is amazing the rooms are nice but not as nice as the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. We enjoy that hotel and would love to come again!

I stayed in the hotel in May for a business trip. It was OK. Breakfast was rich, the room was clean. The staff is helpful. Location of the hotel is cool, as you can reach anywhere with taxi in Sofia. It is close to a beautiful park. My biggest problems were the poor wifi connection and the pillows were super...

The hotel has a swimming pool, not a 25m long one but still, 20m is enough to stay there for an hour or more, so if you are used to "swimming pool - 8m length and width" this will be a revelation. You will need either a swimming cap (you can buy one there) or a shaver and get rid...

It absolutely deserves the 5 stars given. It is a great place. the hotel is huge and normally in such hotels, you never get the personal touch. Here we got it all. The rooms are bright, spacious and exceptionally clean and luxurious. Our room was with a lovely view towards Vitosha mountain. The service was fantastic. The hotel is in...

Stayed in the hotel for business for 10 days, the room was a bit dark, dated and needed some attention (the carpet was not the cleanest, wasn't properly fitted, the curtains fell the minute I touched them, etc) and some of the guests were not the kind of people that you'd want to have a disagreement with. However...service was courteous...

I stayed 5 nights at this hotel to attend a business conference. My room was comfortable but a bit dated. Wifi signal was strong in my 11th Floor room. Breakfast was really nice with a lot of different choices of cuisine. Gym was pretty good but the hours don't support an early morning workout.

No way is this hotel 5 stars, very unfriendly staff, especially at the restaurants and bars, place seems to attract a very dubious crowd, especially on a Saturday, lots of rich teenagers and their minders and other working ladies! The no gun sign on the hotel door doesn't seem to work and the door staff are discourteous to the point...

Don't be fooled by the entrance of the hotel. It looks lovely and very high end. However, the minute you check in to a standard twin room you realise what a terrible mistake you've made. 1. The rooms are dark and dingy. 2. The carpet wasn't fitted well and had gaps between the wall and carpet. 3. The beds are...

The Marinela Hotel in Sofia is a great experience offering some of the most glamorous accommodation in the city. The restaurants are excellent with a wide variety of cuisine and great service. Everyone speaks passable English and are very service minded and polite. The rooms are comfortable but nothing special unless you stay in the renovated part of the hotel...
