15min walk from central, 10lev taxi ride. Right opposite a shopping mall & next to a casino. Major issues & wait times with lifts! Incompetent staff. Small rooms, smaller bathrooms! Oldskol tv as big an iPad! Horrible breakfast. Small bar in lobby. Good for stag.

Clean, tidy, small rooms. Soviet style building.... all very plain. The shower was tiny, shower head completely broken, so I had to pull the head off to avoid flooding the bathroom. Close to railway underground 'European Union' and a newer shopping mall with a Costa Coffee. Read reviews about bed bugs, but checked the bed carefully and didn't see any... More

The reception, porter and lobby bar staff were all very friendly. I stayed here for 4 nights, not out of choice, but as part of an organisation. We were located to the 17th floor which is right under "Club Monkey" - so if you want to sleep early on Friday or Saturday, then forget it! You might as well go... More

The location of this big hotel is very adequate: near to metro, bus, trolleybus or tramway stations. To the center cca. 6 minutes with a taxi. The restaurant is decent. But the rooms are very small; and the baths are terribly small, do not have room to move. The hotel must be closed and the space urgently restructured.

First i wish i couldnt give a zero rating. Upon arrival the receptionist was rude and "tutty" we were given our room which upon entering did have a lovely view of sofia but unfortunately the smell was so overbearing I wasted half a can of deodorant to mask it. Getting into bed after leaving the window open for 8 hours... More

Terrible experience: a double room on the 17 floor, bed 140 cm wide. Clean your teeth in the small bathroom: one leg must we be in the shower. Of the three lifts usually has only one work: waiting for it for 20 minutes. Heating: AC only - of course it does not work when the outside temperature is 13 below... More

I've had the most terrible experience with the management of this old style hotel. Although the location and the conference center were excellent I should share that the management of the hotel doesn't work at all. Actually it turned out that the Marketing department deals with all the decisions, but to get to them is impossible - their working time... More

My wife and my daughter stayed in this hotel this November for an athletic tournament. A blouse was left in the room after the departure. My wife communicated immediately and she was confirmed that the blouse had been found and would be sent home in Greece on our expense. Two weeks passed and I e-mailed the hotel to remind the... Booked 4 nights recently but stayed for 2. Ok positives first. Great location. Seconds walk from the European Union metro station. Very close to centre. Adjacent to city centre mall. Negatives. No parking. If you rent a car which I did, bear this in mind. I asked about parking and was informed it's 15 leva (7.50 euro) per day to... More
