The area Barrio is in is central to most of the sights and within a short walking distant of the Old Town. Stayed here several times and used the restaurant often. I've never been disappointed doing either. The rooms are great - especially for the price, the food is excellent and the staff are efficient and helpful. I would recommend...

This boutique hotel has all it takes. Perfect location. The standard room was spacious and equipped with normal necessities. I stayed 7 nights. As a rule of thumb I never eat in the restaurant of the hotel but finally I found a hotel with a real restaurant that can compete with the top 10 in Bucharest. Aside of having dinner...

I usually stay in big hotels however after eating at the restaurant on my last trip I realized they also have accommodation so I decided to try it out. The room I had was on two levels, loft style, great living/lounge area and upstairs a comfortable queen size bed. The place is very clean, inviting, I loved the wood beams...

I was there for 2 nights, unfortunately i ordered the suite, never again!! It is more than a warehouse than a suite! No windows, dirty, everywhere you have to climb on a stairs. The staff was nice and moved me to a regular room (but didn't refund me the difference). This room was nice, but you can find a better...

Thank you for your review. I am very happy that the staff was welcoming and accommodating and that you enjoyed the second room. However, I am sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the room originally booked. Regarding the refund unfortunately we couldn't help you on this matter because the payment was made by you to the booking...

For the price I paid its like staying in a five star hotel. Warm rooms; that was a change if you are used to staying in hotels and B&Bs in UK or ROI (Ireland). The room was large and came with all the necessities. The reception is not 24hours. Food in the restaurant downstairs is amazing.

My husband and I stayed here in June 2015 for 5 days. The price was fantastic for being in the city (a few mins walk to old Bucharest) The staff was extremely helpful and spoke a bit of English. On our first night, my husband's wallet fell out of his pocket onto the floor outside after dinner. We went for...

I went to Bucharest with my boyfriend last Easter and we booked at Villa Barrio after viewing all the positive marks it gained on booking.com. The room was pretty big and comfortable. Even though the hotel is in front of a night club, the windows are quite effective when closed and we hadn't any problem at night. The staff is...
