Luna Castle is a great hostel to start your trip in Panama if you are traveling on your own. You have nice common areas to meet fellow travelers and the staff is very helpful to plan the rest of your trip. Besides that, the location is great; it's in Casco Viejo, the old part of town. If you prefer a...

This is a party hostel, the bar attracts a lot of people so go there for a good time. The pulled pork for sale at night is amazing. Free breakfast is also good. The dorms without A/C are a little hot. The staff is helpful, especially for booking the trips to San Blas. Trip one of the pops in the...

Overall, my stay in Luna's Castle was very good. The location is great, the people are friendly, and there is a complimentary fruit/pancake breakfast. Although, after some time, you may prefer not to partake! The only negative aspect occurred with a room change to one that had just been painted. This appears to be a relatively common occurrence and issue....

The location is great, Casco Viejo is super save, nice bar downstairs, it's clean and the stuff is very friendly. You can get a bike for free, nice living rooms to hang out. The stuff can help you with organizing all kind of trips. Pancakes, water and coffee for free.

Arrived really early on our first day and our room wasn't ready so the staff were ultra helpful and made us feel at home. Straight away they took our bags and gave us a wifi code and told us to help ourselves with a free breakfast! They also recommended going to the Panama Canal and organised this. By the time...

Huge hostel with really nice and welcoming staff. Their pancake breakfast is one of the best I've seen in Central America. Make your self from a huge vat of batter and free banana's as well. Dorms are pretty hot but each bed has its own fan and curtains. Happy Hour prices for beer are 50cents at their bar so you...

First off, some of the nicest staff I've ever met. Really friendly, and very welcoming! Very flexible and let us check out late/keep our stuff overnight when we left for our San Blad tour the next morning. We got an AC dorm, which was unfortunately a little expensive but worth it as the place was pretty warm. Decent wifi. Very...

As a sola backpacker, this was a gem. I arrived after losing my ATM card (typical) and was in a state of panic. The staff was AWESOME and helped me navigate the whole situation. Note to self: do not leave your ATM card in the machine. Crowd's a bit young, but I was totally crushing one of the owners--think his...

This was our first hostel experience, and we enjoyed it. The girls at the reception desk were so happy and helpful, and they spoke great English. This was our first stop in Panama, so it was great to run into such friendly staff to start. We stayed in a private room. It wasn't much, but it's exactly what we expected...
