I stayed at the hotel for two nights - one on either end of a recent trip to Panama with my parents and a friend. The booking process was simple and smooth, check-in was really easy with no surprises, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with the cleaning measures in place during COVID-19 as we saw them constantly cleaning and wiping down surfaces at breakfast, and we even had to wear gloves to serve ourselves the breakfast at the buffet. We were also very grateful when they were able to put together little lunchboxes for us because we were flying out really early and wouldn't be able to stop for breakfast on our last morning. The rooms were all clean and comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. And I liked that they had extra sanitizing wipes in each room too. We didn't get a chance to use the pool while we were there, but it looked nice from our window! Haha oh and the free parking right out front was super convenient. Very grateful for that! All in all a great stay and would definitely recommend if you need a hotel near the airport.…
Our third stay at this hotel and we love the location next to the two malls opposite each other, and the metro station right there. Rooms are comfortable and the receptionists were very helpful- even provided us with info for the lab in the mall to do our required PCR covid travel tests. Only small complaint is that the pool is only accessible via walking through the restaurant area- wish they had a separate walkway to the elevators and avoided the restaurant lobby area. Happy satisfied customers overall and will return whenever next in Panama!
It had already been a long day of travel, but I was excited to get to my room to drop off my bags and go explore Panama a little. We were only there for less than 24 hours so time was super valuable. Upon entering the hotel, it seemed a little dated, dirty, and worn. The location was extremely convenient since it was so close to the airport ($8-9 Uber black ride, $4-5 Uber X) and we would be there just to rest our head before our 9am flight. After waiting for 25 minutes for the two people in front of me to be checked in (only one desk person), I handed my passport and credit card over and I was promptly informed that I did not have a reservation. Instantly I looked on my Bonvoy app to confirm I did in fact have a reservation, but that was not enough for him. Even though I gave him the confirmation number and showed him the reservation for a two bed room. I had to go through my emails to find the confirmation email with room rate. I even checked in via the app to try to expedite the process and showed him I was now checked-in. Finally after about 30 minutes he gave me a room, while a nice line of 5 or 6 pilots and flight attendants waiting to check-in mounded behind me. I apologized to them while departing to my room, the desk guy did appear to care they were waiting. I was traveling with my elderly mother, so I just wanted to get her to the room so she could relax for a minute. After opening the door, guess what I was in a single king bed room, definitely not what I booked. I left my mom at the door so we did not have to lug our bags downstairs again. The line was not down to 4 people. Luckily they saw me and the pilots felt bad and let me jump in line. Not once did the deskman apologize for anything. He even had an attitude about it. The beds were acceptable, but not as comfortable as other Courtyards I have stayed. The room looked well worn. The hallway did not even look like it was vacuumed, food particles were on the ground! The next morning breakfast was great for a Courtyard, the only bright star for this dump. The server was extremely attentive and pleasant. The food was pretty good. Maybe the bar was set so low with the other experiences here. I should have went with my instincts and kept my original reservations that were deeper in the city. When I come back to Panama, this will definitely not be my hotel.…
Check in was brutally inefficient. Empty hotel, took 20 minutes to check in. Agent unfriendly. Happy to tell me I had just missed the restaurant closure at 9am and they have no room service. Generally dirty Public Areas and elevator. Was glad to leave and only stayed one night. Its option 2 for airport overnight stay and they cater to ZERO overnight travelers on a stay over. Room was ok overall.
I want to thank all the staff of this Hotel for their professionalism and also their great attitude to their guests. All of them deserve To be recognized as the best Marriott employees. I will be back soon.
Friendly staff. Good breakfast though not complementary. A little further away from the airport than ideal but its location next to a decent sized mall makes in convenient. Advise against using their airport shuttle, take Uber instead.
I have spent three nights in the Hotel. The service and the people were excellent. They even organized a Driver and Guide for me to do all the Sightseeing I wanted. In the Internet I could not find a good Tour Operator and I was more than happy to get a local Guide. He did not speak English but my basic Spanish was good enough to understand him properly. I did see everything I wanted. Opposite the Hotel there was a Mall which I could reach by feet. The food in the Hotel was very good. The Hotel was clean and the bed comfortable. If I come back to Panama I would choose this Hotel again.
The hotel is similar to the Courtyard units all around. But in this case I want to express my satisfaction for the quality of attention of the staff. The reception agents, the attendants in the Restaurant, the helpers with luggage. Everybody effcient, smiling all the time, helping us to a wonderful stay considering we are seniors with limitations in physical abilities.
We stayed at this hotel last september. Ny husband and the kids. Is a small complex but the good thing is that is just beside a Mall. So if you need to do a last minute shopping the mall is just by the walking distance. Rooms are clean, hotel installations are very clean. Staff at the reception were friendly. They offer breakfast and it was really ok. It's a good place to stay at.
My stay was okay, the drinks from the bar are not so good, I ordered a sex on the beach, and they brought me a pina colada claming that they made it different in Panama, I've visit many places in Panama and I have never had a sex on the beach with condense milk. I think they need a better bar tender. other then that the breakfast was okay.
