Yes, that is how I feel about the Balboa Inn - for several reasons. It is a very nice place with a friendly and helpful staff, and it's in a safe and quiet area of the city! I had occasion to travel all over Panama for 3 months earlier this year, and after my first stop at the Balboa Inn...

Great little bed and breakfast in a great location. The staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed at this with our 10 month old and 3.5 year old and felt completely at ease and at home. Very good location near the causeway. Staff is very helpful in calling taxis. Breakfast was good, and relaxing. OVerall I would say if you...

I had to stay in Panama for a whole week due to business purposes. The Balboa Inn was the perfect location (great garden/terrace) just a few minutes outside of noisy Panama City. I loved the friendly staff (Gina, Thorwald, Saskia, Gloria), they really helped me to feel at home and gave me a lot of useful information. Ancon Hill is...

My wife and I traveled to Panama for our honeymoon. Before flying to Bocas del Toro we stayed at the Balboa Inn a couple of nights and stayed there again before returning to the States. Its location in a quiet residential neighborhood (known as the Balboa 'flats' during the Canal Zone days) on the side of Ancon Hill is not...

We really enjoyed The Balboa Inn. The Dutch owner was accessible and informative and the staff was also helpful. The servers were friendly and breakfast were great on the lovely patio. The Inn is located in the "Canal Zone" where the canal staff were housed and had offices during construction. The area is close to the Miraflores locks, a beautiful...

We spent 4 nights (April 15 - 19) at the Inn prior to our cruise. We were greeted at the airport by Julius (he works with the Inn), he had a sign with our name on it and made our trip to the Inn very pleasant, especially after flying all day. Gloria checked us in, and was there every night....

The Balboa Inn was an arrival and departure B&B for us on our recent Panama trip. Safe truely neighborhood location at the base on Ancon Hill, the staff at Balboa was helpful and very kind. Breakfast on the patio was excellent! Thorwald and his staff were very helpful in arranging transportation to and from the airport both ways.....good recommendations on...

My husband & I stayed at the Balboa Inn 4 nights. Pre-arrival communications were well done as well as an arranged pick up from another hotel. We arrived and were nicely greeted by Gina, Saskia and other non-english speaking staff. I chose a triple room since others had commented on lack of places to open suitcases & other storage issues....

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to write this extensive review. It reaffirms the notion that creating total customer satisfaction is a never ending process and we welcome this opportunity to dot our ‘I’s’ so to say. We agree there are a few rooms left that still need minor fixes such as hangers and will take care of...

It was my first time in Panama. I stayed for a week, April 5 to April 12. The staff Gina, Gloria were wonderful, helpful, like family for the week I stayed there. The owner, Thorwald, is very helpful in giving guidance for what to do and also very interested in finding our how your different outings from the B&B went....

The Inn is a great B&B, perfect if you want to be close to PC but away from the hustle and bustle of the city streets. So close to Albrook (bus station and airport) as well as Amador Causeway, this is the perfect place to stay if you are planning day trips (or even longer) to other parts of the...
