Canal House is in a league of its own as far as Panama hospitality is concerned. You can’t beat the unique accommodations, quality and service. You get every penny for what you pay for and the three rooms provide price points for low (starting at $150/night, but you should consider upgrading if you plan on spending a lot of time...

Have just returned from a four night stay at Canal House -- it's a great place to stay. It's a small, newly renovated structure in the old quarter, very well appointed. There's a comfortable living room area with an honor-system bar that provides a great setting for cocktails. Our room was very comfortable, as well as attractive. Excellent service, including...

I have stayed in many hotels all around the world. This hotel was excellent- one of the best. If you are looking for a smaller and more intimate experience, this can't be beat. The staff is unbelievably helpful with arranging rides, recommending food and activities. The facilities are top notch and the rooms charming. The included breakfast is a perfect...

Of all the places we stayed in Panama, The Canal House was definetely the best! Surrounded by history and old city charm, the Canal House is a gem. The exterior reflects old spanish architecture with a modern interior. The staff was available for any of our needs and provided the extra tlc you don't get at everyday high rise hotels....

HOTEL REVIEW # 154 Hotel Canal Panama City MY TRAVEL STYLE: If possible, I try to stay away from business and strongly prefer resorts that resemble the Four Seasons, Aman, and Oberoi but try to find similar properties at lower cost. I seek out the “wow” experiences and I encourage you to view hotels I have stayed at and their...

We had an excellent stay at the Canal House. The building was beautiful, the rooms were stylish but comfortable and the neighborhood was charming. The best part was the great staff who were always happy to answer questions and try to make you feel more at home. We were amazed at how many excellent restaurants there were in the neighborhood....

Casco Viejo is a magical place. While it is in the process of gentrification, there is still an abundance of vibrancy and local culture. The Canal House affords a truly elegant and comfortable lodging option. I have been in Panama for three years and it is unquestionable the most pleasurable place to stay. If you are looking for a quiet...

The service was first-class and the staff was incredibly welcoming and accomodating. The chef offered to drive us into the city when we were waiting for a cab and the hostess walked us to a local restaurant for dinner instead of giving us directions! All the rooms are comfortable and clean and we felt like we were in our own...

Though we were only able to stay for one night, Canal House made our time in the Casco Viejo truly special. Spacious rooms, tall windows, comfortable furnishings, top notch amenities, and dedicated service made it a highlight of the trip. The hotel is very well situated within the old city, and allowed us to explore the streets, shops, architecture, and...
