Safe guarded parking outside, small rooms but clean with AC, internet in the lobby and the prices not too high. The location is central but not in the best part of town and on a very busy street. The attached restaurant is the best part because if you don't finish a meal, they will refrigerate it for you until your... More

After arriving at an unsuitable hotel, we were on our way to a hotel that we had found on Trip Advisor that was going to cost about $95/night. The taxi driver recommended checking-out Hotel California instead. We were glad we agreed to stop and look! Although it didn't include breakfast, it was just under 1/2 the cost. It had internet... It was our taxi driver recommendation as it resulted to be cheaper then the hostel we first visited. It is cheap and clean, at the main road where you can take a taxi from. The rooms cleaned every day. If you need any advice or tour guide, ask in the reception we were given a few nice contacts and we... More

We needed to be in Panama for a few days for business and Hotel California was perfect for our needs. It is centrally located in the city, near shopping and restaurants and is inexpensive, clean and friendly. There is a very nice rooftop patio with jacuzzi which is perfect for relaxing outside your room. There is good WiFi and the... More

Upon obtaining a rental car at Tocumen, i proceeded towards the hotel via "El Corredor Norte" which took me to Balboa avenue and then turned upwards. If you're lucky enough to arrive during the day, you may find parking right in front of the hotel. If not, the security guard can direct you to a parking spot where it will... More

Rooms were good for the price, good A/C and cable TV. Cleaned daily and most staff were friendly. Little disappointing that the upstairs rooftop had to be closed by 10pm, this was one of the best features of the hotel. Area is a little dodgy, but common sense dictates what you should do. Overall a good place to stay.

Stayed two different nights on the suggestion of friends who sail in Panama (had to, getting to the Atlantic side requires staying overnight to get across early in the morning). At $44/night is was well worth it. Clean rooms of reasonable size, decent shower, nice small pool on the roof, very good and cheap restaurant adjacent, free wifi. Some of... More

I got in pretty late. 11:15. The man at the front desk was so slow. He either did not want to give me a room or he was totally confused. I had a reservation. I pointed to my name in his book. Anyway, the problem was the air conditioner. It worked, but it blew out the worst mold smell. I... More

Stayed here a few nights whilst waiting to go to Mexico. Decent staff and receptionist answered our emails promptly. The room was ok but smelt like it had been hosed down with bleach just before we got there and wouldn´t leave. Noisy air con. The pool on the roof is worth a peek but they close it at 9:30pm, just...
