My daughters and I traveled twice up the coast of Maine and this is The favorite spot. If your young adults love animals, there are none so interesting and well cared for than here. The llamas are most special. It's a beautiful waterfront bed and breakfast from which you can day trip to explore Campobella (bring your passport and have...

We went to Addison ME to visit nearby friends but ended up falling in love with this B&B/Llama Farm. Right on the inlet to Addison, the view was lovely from our private balcony. We booked the two room suite which turned out to be a very private apartment, upstairs with own entrance. Living Room, kitchen, bath and large bedroom. We...

While this place is a bit off the beaten path, it is more than worthy of a trip, let alone a stay-over. The house, the grounds, the setting, the views, are all breathtaking. Our host showed us through the whole place and we were free to use her kitchen and all the facilities. We could have had our supper on...

A unique and wonderful experience! The property is lovely and the proprietor generous and warm (if a little eccentric), but the real draw is the LLAMAS! Over two dozen of these gorgeous, placid, friendly and intelligent creatures roam the premises, and you can help feed them and pet them and get to know their personalities. The proprietor can teach you...

While trying to make arrangements around a last-minute puffin-watching trip we were planning, we dropped Pleasant Bay an email at the website l asking if rooms were available on such short notice. A man responded and let us know that yes, they did have space available, and kindly instructed us to use the online form to complete a reservation. We...

We stopped for one night returning from Nova Scotia, and simply had to stay another to relax at this beautiful location. Having gourmet breakfasts both mornings was a real surprise, and the hospitality was wonderful.

Just back from a 6-night stay. A lovely home with spacious, well-decorated rooms. Very clean, too. The maid made the beds and cleaned the bathroom every day--and left a chocolate on our pillows. The breakfasts were large, varied, healthy, and yummy. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Joan even gave us fresh eggs to take home with us. Lovely views...

Our stay at Pleasant Bay Inn was a pleasure. We had an upstairs suite with a balcony, complete kitchen and comfortable bed. The location is out of the way, but if you want to relax and enjoy some peaceful time in beautiful surroundings, this place is for you. The owners are very nice and serve hearty fresh breakfasts using local...

This is a lovely setting with very reasonable rates. We reserved online using their registration system with a valid credit card. We enjoyed our two night stay there and planned on returning. We came in and out very early in order to make the most of our stay and get back to Boston, a 6 hour drive. So why 'not...
