The Inn is surrounded by parking lots and commercial malls. I don't recall much in the way of desirable dog-walking space. There are, however, several motels just west of I-95 on US-202 that have more open space nearby.
Personally, i would contact the hotel directly. I have not seen a shuttle but I also know that the airport is just up the road so it's not far. You could also ask the hotel if you could park your car there until you return... More
