Place is immaculate and clearly been upgraded. I frankly can’t believe I’m in a ”Super 8” and advise travelers not to spend the extra money at other area hotels if your needs are just a nice comfortable room and very comfortable bed. The check-in management and housekeeping are very alert to your stay and accommodative. Perfect Augusta location and plenty of parking. Low price and a Five-Star Stay.
Two friends and I stayed at this hotel after a business meeting. It was the worst experience I ever had. We would have left, but because we were so exhausted we put up with it. It reeked of smoke in the hallway, and when we got to our room it smelled like an ashtray. There were Kleenex shoved between the head of the bed and the floor. The carpet was dirty and gross. My pillow smelled a little like mold, but that was probably because there was mold in the bathroom. If it says smoke free it should be. The place was just gross. The only word I can think of.
wont stay here again, property smelled like a bar and smoke everywhere. everything is outdated room outdated but bed was good, though key cards stopped working and there were not enough towels, breakfast was terrible, coffee was terrible and desk staff in morning need to understand they have to smile they operate the place. Price is cheap but not worth it. I wont stay at a super 8 again
We were in the Augusta area for a family wedding. We were very pleased with the outstanding way our check in was handled by Thomas. He was very professional and courteous which began our 2 night stay very relaxing! Everyone there was thoughtful and polite. We will return the next time we are planning a visit to the area!
Lowest cost of the chains available in the area. Old but clean. There's really not a great deal to say about it except that it's convenient to I-95, and on the main drag into downtown Augusta. It's an economy accommodation in all respects.
