This namesake B&B is conveniently located about a mile from the village and the Naval Academy with easy access in and out of town. There is sufficient free parking and provides very comfortable and elegant accommodations. We prefer grand historic hotels or historic Victorian era B&Bs and mansion hotels, which impart the atmosphere of the Gilded Age. This fits the...

The Annapolitan Inn was a delightful place to stay. The grounds of this Inn were perfect for our family during Graduation week. I felt like I was home when I would awake and smell the wonderful breakfast the Felipa was preparing for us. Felipa was very accomadating for our family. Mr. John was very helpful with suggestions and recommendations during...

We stayed in "Beacon", a wonderful and large attic room with a strong marine theme running through it, which really made the room unique and quirky. The bed was huge and comfortable, the shower room was decent and the room felt very private, given we had the whole attic floor to ourselves. The breakfasts were filling and made by a...

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay in "Beacon," it's one of our favorite rooms, since it matches the nautical theme of Annapolis! We will certainly pass along the breakfast compliments to Filipa, she will be happy to know you enjoyed her cooking. We hope to see you again soon, and thank you again for taking the time to...

My friends and I stayed for a reunion, the service and room are excellent. I will stay here every time I come to Annapolis. They let us sleep in and made us breakfast late. Filipa makes great breakfast!

The positive remark is it was clean. Otherwise, cluttered beyond words; met owner as we came and as we left; bed much too hard; as a non meat, non dairy eater, did not appreciate a no choice breakfast with sausage on the plate and redi whip on the waffle. Hospitable idea to have hot water for tea available. Not so...

Thank you for taking time to send your feedback on your stay at The Annapolitan. Our bed and breakfast is historic, and we have done our best to preserve those aspects of the property, but we will certainly take your feedback into consideration when revisiting interior updates. We do have vegetarian and gluten-free breakfast options, available upon advance request. We...

When looking for a weekend getaway somewhere new, I came across a deal for the Annapolitan on LivingSocial. The Annapolitan was the first B&B I've ever stayed in, and I must say I was beyond pleased. While the location of the B&B isn't in the heart of downtown, it's a very short car ride from the fun of the bars...

How wonderful to know your stay with us was your very first bed and breakfast experience! Thank you so much for such a glowing review, we really enjoyed chatting with you during your stay. It sounds like you also really loved Annapolis (we don't blame you, we do too), and are happy to know that John's recommendations were helpful to...

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at The Annapolitan. The owner, John, was very welcoming and obliging. The hotel staff was friendly and polite. The location has a small beach, a downtown area, and the naval academy all within a twenty minute radius. John was very helpful in giving activity and meal suggestions. Overall, a great weekend getaway.

We had a very nice weekend stay in Annapolis. The Inn was very well maintained and the staff very friendly. The location is not perfect in that it is a little bit of a walk to downtown Annapolis. The walk is about 1.5 miles, which we found to be fine but might not be right for everybody. When you visit,...

We booked the Annapolitan last minute on an off-season trip through Annapolis. The booking process was very smooth, John was very professional and welcoming, the inn very well located. A great effort has been made to maintain the historical character of the home, which leads sometimes to a bit of exaggeration. I am an interior designer and would have preferred...

John the owner/host was very friendly and accomodating and helpful when we needed to call a cab. We left a cell phone behind which was mailed to us the next day. There were a few items that were very average: the decor is a bit suffocating, too many items everywhere which makes the rooms feel much smaller and cluttered. The...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Over one hundred years ago, the Annapolitan bed and breakfast became one of first venues in Annapolis to accommodate guests. The gorgeous colonial home, originally a farm, housed workers during the week before they headed back to their homes on eastern shore each weekend. Over the years, many things have changed at our quaint Annapolis bed and breakfast, but many things remain the same. The Annapolitan Bed and Breakfast continues hosting guests from near and far, providing quaint, cozy accommodations for those wishing to experience the maritime city of Annapolis. While the city of Annapolis has grown, becoming a travel destination for sailing, dining, entertainment, shopping and historic sightseeing, the elegance and hospitality of the Annapolitan remains unchanged, establishing it as one of the finest Annapolis bed and breakfasts around. ... more   less
