Nice and comfortable old home. Easy walk to waterfront. Right across street from the beautiful historic State Capital building. Love this city. Comfortable room and very pleasant staff. Inexpensive. (No breakfast but can walk to so many...). Was just my husband and I. No parking on site but they give you a 50% off card for municipal parking lot that's...

It's a B for two reasons: First, there is "bed", but no "breakfast." Second, it is nice, but not great. One oddity: The proprietor was rarely on the premises. When I arrived, the door was locked and no one answered the door bell. I came back later (around noon) and, again, no one answered the door bell. I called the...

Plus: great location, quiet...we ran the A/C all night and never heard anything else. Neg. not the cleanest, from the coffee pot (no breakfast served) to the shower and sink area. Do not think of the Inn as a B&B. It is only a B.

We stayed here for one night when we were in town for a family wedding at the Naval Academy Chapel. The location couldn't have been more perfect...short easy walk to the Chapel and then back from the reception. Easy walk to the city docks and historic areas, and directly across the street from the Maryland State House. Friendly, helpful staff,...

What a shame we were only able to spend one night here. I was on a mission to find a nice place (that didn't kill our wallets) in a location close to downtown. I found it at the State House Inn. The folks that run/own this place are amazing. The lovely girl that checked us in was so accommodating. We...

My husband and I were looking for a cute place to stay that's within walking distance to the downtown area. This adorable B&B is up the street from the harbor but right on state circle so it's a great view and you can walk to all the local stores and restaurants. The rooms themselves are typical B&B style (small, a...

This is a beautiful old house right in the historic part of Annapolis. It is right across the street from the legislature and within easy walking distance of shops, the waterfront and restaurants. I enjoyed my stay there very much. I stayed in the King George room which was quite large and had a view over the rooftops to the...

Stayed there for an overnighter while enjoying the nightlife of Annapolis. Clean, comfortable room, no complaints at all. Like many reviewers, I will look up reviews on an establishment before I stay there, one thing I noticed was many people complaining that the State House Inn does not serve breakfast because they searched for B&B's. I must point out that...

Thanks for the great review! You really described the hotel well! We are in such a great location and our rates are typically much lower thank other hotels. As an "INN" we do not serve breakfast. The Inn is in the heart of the city, so right out the door there are many great options to get out of the...

Imagine staying in a grande Colonial home, with a private patio, a large sitting porch, and being right downtown in historic Annapolis! The house faces State Circle, which is nice and cozy, but around the corner, and a quick walk down Chancery Lance (the historic site where George Washington resigned his post as Commander in Chief) you'll find yourself downtown...
