We stayed in The Chesapeake at the Inn just recently on a mid week night while in town for a Navy soccer game. The warmth of the Inn makes it feel as if you are visiting friends. The location is right in town and a walk to the Naval Academy. Upon arrival we met a nice couple having wine on...

31 and 27yo couple arriving during the Annapolis boatshow (Weekend of Oct 10th). Spending a Sunday night in the 'King George' Suite for our Anniversary. All of the positives from TripAdvisor and Yelp reviews are spot-on. I didn't get a sense of the negatives. Terrific location, Thoughtful staff, Cozy rooms, added up to a pretty fantastic experience. Some additional perspective,...

Loved the location and the pet-friendly welcome. All staff were super nice - Kerie, Carath and Amber. Flexible with the check-in and check out times if need be. As others mentioned, the rooms could use some sprucing up, and at not a very high cost. We stayed in the Prince William (2nd floor, faces State House, on the circle). Plenty...

Great location but we were really suprised that it did not include breakfast. The person who checked us in was in such a hurry that we didn't even get to ask any questions - -she shoved a map at us along with the discount for parking and walked away before we could ask her anything. It is quite noisy on...

We were thrilled with the location of the Inn. Right across from the State House on the lovely quiet circle. But just down the sidewalk next to the hotel we could cut across to the block of the main street with all the shops and restaurants. It was a great combination. We were rather surprised that no breakfast of any...

To be completely honest, The State House Inn is the only place I will stay. I visit numerous times a year, and never had a bad experience. Carath, the manager, is VERY helpful, friendly, and makes you feel so comfortable, she's very personable. The State House Inn is perfectly placed in the heart of Downtown Annapolis, which is walking distance...

Homey, Personable, Awesome Location! I loved being nestled on this quiet street with a beautiful view of the capital and its grounds. I only had to walk around the corner to be in the middle of all the shops and restaurants. The water was only a few blocks away. My room was cozy, clean and had a comfortable bed with...

The State House Inn is my favorite for visits to Annapolis. Its quaint and quiet. The front porch is so cozy and peaceful to sit in the evenings with some wine or coffee and a computer in the morning. It backs onto main street and everything is within walking distance! The ladies that work the Inn are all so friendly...

Despite reading all of the negative reviews regarding the State House Inn, this place is one of the best. The rooms are spacey for any number of guests small or large and clean. Cleanliness is one of the most important aspects of any hotel and this one goes above and beyond. The Inn is located in a great place also....

We stayed on a Wed & Thurs nights mid-May, with no big events going on around Annapolis...so a pretty quiet visit overall. I booked on the phone the month before and when I checked my reservation on line the week prior to our trip, I saw that our room showed a vacancy the 2nd night of our stay...I called and...

We appreciate you staying as a guest of our Inn and value your feedback. We agree that our location is fantastic, with each room having a view of either Main Street, the State Building, and our King George Suite has a great view of the Chesapeake Bay! Our building is older, just about 300 years, and we do our best...
