My husband and I wanted to get away for a few days. We chose to visit Annapolis, Maryland again only because of Chez Amis. Elly is an engaging, friendly, and helpful host who cooks delectable breakfasts. The rooms we've stayed in were tastefully decorated without too much "frou frou." She also provides a selection of snacks and drinks for the...

Great little B&B stop on our way home to North Carolina from New Jersey. It was within very easy walking distance of restaurants and downtown harbor area. Host was so gracious and made a great breakfast. Their pet dog was also very friendly. You really felt like you were visiting someone in their home. I will definitely be back.

Our stay at Chez Amis was absolutely wonderful! Our room was beautifully decorated and VERY clean. From the moment that we walked thru the door the house had a relaxed vibe while soft jazz played in the background. The location was perfect, seated smack dab in the heart of Annapolis, literal steps from the capital building; we felt as though...

We had stayed with Ellie at Chez Amis for Valentine's Day a couple of years ago and had had a wonderful time, so we decided to go back. Since one of us has a bad knee, this time we stayed in the room on the main (first) floor. Another great time! If pressed, I might say I had a slight...

Chez Amis was extremely clean and the decor was lovely. We had a great time celebrating our Anniversary. The location is excellent. We could walk to the Naval Academy, stores and restaurants in beautiful Annapolis. Elly, the owner of Chez Amis is an excellent hostess. We look forward to returning soon.

My husband was very pleasantly surprised when I treated him to a surprise getaway weekend for his 60th birthday at Chez Amis! The atmosphere was very pleasant, with soothing background music and tasteful decorations. Ella, our hostess, was very welcoming and made sure our stay was comfortable with a birthday surprise, and great breakfasts. Everything we wanted to do was...

We loved our stay at Chez Amis! Elly and Joe are great hosts, and Maggie the dog was an added bonus. Our room, The Treaty of Paris, was spacious and well-appointed. Although it's on the first floor, and opens onto the living room, it was quiet and private. We were celebrating our anniversary, and came back the first night to...

This B&B was a lovely place to stay for a little babymoon in Annapolis. Elly was tremendously welcoming and made delicious breakfasts for us both mornings. She was the perfect amount of "present" - we had a great time chatting with her (and got great restaurant recommendations), but also felt like we could hang out in our room or read...

Perfect location, spacious room, very friendly staff...and a wonderfully loving dog (Maggie!). The three course breakfast was also delicious, and Elly made special gluten-free scones for my allergies. Highly recommend all around!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
"Chez Amis" in French means "Among Friends". Come share a day, weekend or week with us and enjoy the state capitol of Maryland and all it has to offer. Our 4 bedroom Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of historic Annapolis, Maryland and is nearby the State Capitol, St. John's College, the waterfront, city dock, the Naval Academy, antique shops and fabulous dining and entertainment places all within walking distance.Find comfort and old fashioned relaxation at Chez Amis. Since each guest room has a private TV, the French country styled common area is designed for reading, conversation, and playing many games of your choice. Bananagrams and scrabble seem to be our guests’ favorite. Refreshments and homemade cookies are available throughout your stay so we understand if you ‘sneak downstairs’ for just one last cookie. The dining area is a wonderful piece of carpentry that was built by the previous inn owner. It comfortably fits our guests but we also offer supplemental seating if you choose a more intimate table. ... more   less
