My husband and I went to Annapolis for a one-night getaway and we chose the perfect spot to stay. Elly, Joe, and Maggie were so accommodating and made us feel right at home in their lovely, quaint B&B. We stayed in The State Room which is at the end of the hallway upstairs, which felt private. Chez Amis is in...

Cozy B and B wonderlully located within walking distanch to the water, restaurants, historic sites and the Naval Academy as well. Nice to see lunch time formation there and tour the Academy. And we probably put on few pounds on Elly's wonderful breakfasts. Nice to have coffee and tea always available as well.

My wife and I went to Chez Amis for my 80th birthday. It was the best B&B experience we have ever had. The accommodations were superb and the owners so warm and welcoming that we felt we were with family. Elly's breakfasts are way above the normal B&B fare - worth the stay by themselves. The B&B's location is ideal...

My friend and I planned a quick trip to Annapolis for just a one-night stay, and ran into quite a snow squall on the way. What should have been less than 3 hours travel turned into over six. I called Joe and Elly a few times to tell them of our delay, and they could not have been more gracious....

Elly pays thoughtful and terrific attention to every detail and will make you feel like royalty! We had a delicious breakfast of homemade coffeecake, beautiful fresh fruit, crab/egg/cheese strata. Late on the day we arrived Elly recommended and made a reservation for us for dinner after we realized we should have done this already (it was Valentine's Day weekend). She...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
"Chez Amis" in French means "Among Friends". Come share a day, weekend or week with us and enjoy the state capitol of Maryland and all it has to offer. Our 4 bedroom Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of historic Annapolis, Maryland and is nearby the State Capitol, St. John's College, the waterfront, city dock, the Naval Academy, antique shops and fabulous dining and entertainment places all within walking distance.Find comfort and old fashioned relaxation at Chez Amis. Since each guest room has a private TV, the French country styled common area is designed for reading, conversation, and playing many games of your choice. Bananagrams and scrabble seem to be our guests’ favorite. Refreshments and homemade cookies are available throughout your stay so we understand if you ‘sneak downstairs’ for just one last cookie. The dining area is a wonderful piece of carpentry that was built by the previous inn owner. It comfortably fits our guests but we also offer supplemental seating if you choose a more intimate table. ... more   less
