Stayed in the Governor Calvert House. Nicely appointed. Feels like recent interior update. Enjoyed a top floor King corner room. Check in was fast and pleasant. Check out was painless. Staff was wonderful the entire stay. Valet, although pricey, was fast and efficient. Location is...More
A lovely historic home turned in to a beautiful hotel. A few blocks away from Main Street, located in a wonderfully charming neighborhood. A quaint and quiet location just steps away from great restaurants, shopping and the water. Can't wait to go back!

The Historic Inns of Annapolis are a great way to experience the charm of this beautiful port town. Having stayed several times at a couple of their locations, I can't imagine staying anywhere else. It's always a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend it!

We stayed in the Maryland House. The room was nicely appointed and a very comfortable bed. Only complaint would be the bathroom size. But I must admit I was not surprised being a historic building. Overall an enjoyable stay.

I have stayed at both the Governor Calvert House and the Maryland Inn. We prefer the Governor Calvert house, rooms are nicer and quieter. Check in is there and simple with valet to take your car. It is a lovely 5 minute walk to the Maryland Inn if you choose to eat there but there are better places to walk for great meals. Had a super dinner at Osteria 177, if you like northern Italian, a bit pricey but wonderful. Had a delightful breakfast at the Iron Rooster down by the dock, lots of good choices and a local favorite. Wonderful pubs down by the docks of you want more casual food. Lived in the area for year and now visit to see friends and always enjoy it. Easy walk to the Naval Academy too.
