I stayed at the Allen House on a free weekend between business trips. The house itself is remarkable, beautiful in every detail; the innkeeper’s knowledge of the history of the place made it all the more interesting. The room was comfortable and relaxing, the breakfast delicious each morning, and the place had an overall feel of home. What made the...

My daughter and I stayed at this Inn for three nights. We had a lovely stay, enjoyed the hosts and the other guests so very much. The room was great and thoughtfully laid out. The bath was great, plenty of room for both of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. cathy v

Stayed for Amherst reunions. Its close by, picturesque, and beautifully kept. The clincher was the home made all-you-can eat chocolate chip cookies by the tea service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Allen House. The owners were extremely accomodating and joyful people. The room was beautifully decorated and very cozy, with lindt chocolates that we immediately devoured. Amazing food. We will definitely be back.

The Allen House in Amherst was a wonderful experience. My daughter and I stayed there for 2 nights as we were visiting colleges. The actual inn is an extraordinary place, with period decor, antiques etc., everything well thought out for guests and of the highest quality. I met my girlfriend here because it was halfway for the both of of us. It could not have been more perfect. My girlfriend who enjoys a more quaint life in the country and myself who likes the quickness and convenience of a city both felt so at home at the Allen House in Amherst. The bed was so comfy...

I slept like a baby, the bed was the most comfortable I've slept in, and I just bought stearns & foster. I slept on a shifman mattress and I wish I experienced one of these before I bought my own bed. The breakfast was fantastic. The food just kept coming. It seemed like the kitchen was open around the clock....

Stayed at Allen House for a week. It was a great place to stay, with great rooms and all the amenities one would need, plus it was within walking distance to local resturants and shops. I was served a variety of breakfast items everyday that were fresh and hot. I never left hungry! Was very happy with my stay and...

I highly recommend you treat yourself with a night of historic luxury in Alan House. I enjoyed our stay so much; it reminded me of 80s built luxury...

I arrived in the evening, after a 6 hour journey, and was kept up half the night by the InnKeeper who would not go away and would not stop asking me personal questions. I had to ask several times for him to leave my room, once he finally showed it to me. He insisted on turning out all the lights...
