I had 7 nights in the two-bedroom cottage at Aataren (the name is transitioning from Colony Lodge). My holiday began instantly when I was met at the airport by very-friendly Jo. My wife and I spent a week on Norfolk Island and were more than happy with our stay at Colony Lodge. Clean, spacious and well appointed, it was also well located, just out of Burnt Pine, the main shops and great restaurants even closer just across the road. Our garden apartment ws all and more than we expected and contained extras like a picnic set and beach towels and in the kitchen we appreciated having cling wrap, paper towel, plastic storage containers etc. Our little car provided as part of the package was put to good use as we investigated all over the island and all to soon...

We stayed for a week in a garden apartment and the accommodation was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom had recently been upgraded and was great. The apartment was far enough from the town to be quiet but close enough that we could easily walk into town ( just over 1 km per GPS) have a coffee and walk back....

We were very pleased with Colony Lodge - stayed a week in a one bedroom Garden Apartment. The recently re-furbished unit was spacious, clean, well set out and very comfortable for the pair of us.
