The inn was not well taken care of. Furniture appeared broken, mattress was uncomfortable and ancient, lady in charge was more interested in her cell phone than in greeting guests, and the bathroom in the lobby (actually in the restaurant next door also owned by the summer house) hadn't been flushed when I first checked in. The pool area out... More

It is a good location on a quiet street , if you need wifi in your room book only the rooms in the main bldg the outer ones do don't have wifi. We stayed In room Thyme it did not have wifi. If you have a problem you will need to be patient because the only person who has authority... More

In Gardenia cottage for two nights. Bed is so hard the floor might have been better. Bathroom small. No comfortable place to sit, inside or garden outside in garden. Screen door wouldn't close or latch. Windows up high - no view. Though I searched never saw any staff of any kind other than a maid, In passing, who asked me... More

Stayed here for Figawi weekend this past Memorial Day. What a lovely inn and perfect location - close to downtown. Friendly staff and the room was very nice/clean. Definitely recommend. There is free breakfast as well.

We stayed at the summer house fair street for one night in the camomile room. It was a clean and comfortable room and bed with separate entrance. Good locale in town and cute grounds. The air conditioning was awesomely cool in the room. The room was tiny, which was fine for us. The bathroom left a bit to be desired... More

This is a REALLY OLD building on Nantucket -- so expect it to be old. The room was very much as it looked on the website. The floors creaked, the doors are not plumb -- but it's charming. Easy access to all you want to do on the Island. We did not take advantage of the Beach Club, but wished... More

Dirty rooms, terrible unhelpful staff, old moldy shower curtain, tiny TV! We switched rooms and found the second one larger but dirtier. We were told that the shuttle to the beach wasn't running even though the weather was perfect. Flies buzzing around the breakfast!

This is an old home converted into an B and B. There are no comforts of home - no phone, no outlets to plug in electronics. The door had a big crack in it- there was a cobweb above our bed, a stain on the love seat cushion. However, it is close to town and you can get their shuttle... More
