We loved our stay at the Cobblestone Inn. We will be rebooking for a second trip later this summer. We visited with our teenager (plus a friend) and toddler and the rooms were perfect for our family, and also somewhat removed from the rest of the inn, so we could rest assured the exuberant 2 year-old would not disturb the... We chose the cobblestone inn mainly because it was affordable, and we're surprised by how clean and big the room was ( not to mention the huge bathroom and wonderful shower!). The inn owner was accommodating and upgraded our room. Location was perfect, a 5 minute walk from the ferry. My only regret was that I didn't stay longer than... More

Reading the previous reviews I have a hard time believing we stayed in the same place! Our room was on the first floor and the steps are narrow and steep and I worried that one of us would slip and break a hip. I advised my husband to step sideways and hold on as he climbed down. Younger persons do... More

Location, room, staff and owner - all were perfect. Oh, and the rate was super also. I can't claim to have stayed elsewhere, but after here, I wouldn't bother to look. Cute breakfast also.

We ended up staying at the Cobblestone on a whim after we fell in love with Nantucket and it was a great decision! As everyone knows, Nantucket can get expensive, but this was a fairly reasonable offer with great atmosphere in an unbelievable location. It was a straight shot down Federal Street, right near all the best Nantucket has to... More

My husband and I just stayed there in July. It exceeded our expectations! We paid a very fair price for the island of Nantucket and got a heck of a room ( more of a suite) for the price! Very, very clean, & LARGE room. We had #6. Had a full (comfortable bed) plus a twin, a living room area,... More

First time in Nantucket; this place accommodated my family of three in a nice spacious room. In the middle of a heatwave, we surely appreciated the central air conditioning. Large bathroom. Sure, breakfast could be better, but you can walk a few blocks to a nice bakery if you want to supplement it. Great for walking in the town, or... More

I stayed at the Cobblestone Inn with my mother and sister on Mothers day weekend this year. It was the perfect location for enjoying the wonderful downtown restaurants and fun little shops. They provided a great little breakfast spread and had a little snack area always stocked in the main house. We stayed in in a room that had a... More

My husband and I had a wonderful trip and The Cobblestone Inn and Robin, as the innkeeper, helped make it an unforgetable experience. We stayed on the 3rd floor. As we arrived fog and rain had just started; the top floor made for wonderful views of the harbor and the sofa felt like our special part of Nantucket even in... More

I normally don't write reviews but, after our third stay at the Inn I had to. We stayed at the Cobblestone on three occasions, once in Summer, once in early fall, and just completed a winter getaway in December. We find the Inn inviting, friendly, and homey. On all stays the innkeepers were warm and accomadating. We felt like visitors... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Cobblestone Inn is a cozy, 18th century bed and breakfast. Built in 1725, last renovated in 1997, the centuries blend walking the two blocks from Steamship Wharf to our quiet cobblestoned side street in the heart of historic Nantucket Town. Miles of beaches and misty moors take you far from jangling phones and the stresses of everyday life. Revel in sedentary solitude, or indulge yourself with long walks and ocean sunsets. Nantucket is waiting...Robin and Keith look forward to welcoming you to their home, the Cobblestone Inn, and Nantucket. ... more   less

“This inn is close to ferry service, the village and just easy to get around without a car. If you do rent a car, the inn has a parking pass for you to use, if its available its very nice to have. Nice fluffy white towels, hair dryer and just a delightful inn.”

“I would highly recommend room 101 if you can get it. Quiet and a bit more isolated from the rest of the inn, it has a separate entrance to the courtyard.”
