Here are the pros for the Pineapple Inn: rooms very clean, nicely decorated, free shuttle to Summer House and use of pool, staff at Inn friendly. Cons: rooms at the inn went on sale on Jetsetter a day and a half after I booked for same weekend. I contacted mgt and though the Jetsetter offer was a nicer room for...

I'm sorry that your Summer House experience was not up to par. We pride ourselves on accommodating our guests and providing the best quality service, so I'm disappointed to hear that this was not how you were treated by our staff. I'd love the opportunity to make it up to you - please contact manager@thesummerhouse.com so I can personally see...

We stayed at Pineapple Inn over the Labor day weekend. The most important points for me were: 1. Location - right in the center of the village but on a quiet street so that you don't hear people returning from bars; 2. Value - I booked it well in advance, like in the spring and at the time it appeared...

After reading the reviews here, I wasn't expecting much. In fact, I was expecting somthing akin to Harry Potter's cupboard under the stairs. We booked a last minute trip and there were very few hotels with availability. We chose the Pineapple Inn because it was a lot less expensive than other options in town. Our room #10 on the third...

This 19th century B and B is located within blocks of everything in Nantucket's TOWN and that's the biggest reason to stay here. We were able to walk to everything we needed in just a few minutes: a huge plus. If you are looking for large, plush rooms, don't reserve here. The room we stayed in (#3 on the first...

We have stayed at the Inn for the past 5 years. They have been fine for our needs. They are reasonably clean and have a nice continental breakfast with fruit. We have enjoyed the pool and beach at their sister hotel (B & B) The Summer house as part of the deal. With transportation to boot. However on the weak side...

Quaint little historic Inn located on a quiet street. Our room, #8, was spacious, clean and nicely decorated with quite a large bathroom, tub and a closet. Also had an air-conditioning unit, thankfully, as it was a record heatwave. Breakfast was delicious - fresh breads and muffins, granola with fruit, yogurt, juice, milk, cereal, coffee, tea, etc. - to eat...

Thank you for the kind words. We do offer a guests with great proximity to town and spacious rooms for a Nantucket property. Unfortunately, we do not have a concierge on staff at the Pineapple Inn. The property is very small. However, you are welcome to use the services offered by the Summer House in Sconset. We will make sure...

My husband and I along with 2 other couples stayed at the Pineapple Inn over the 2011 Columbus Day weekend. Since we spent most of our time out and about on the Island of Nantucket, the Inn was a great choice. We didn't mind that there was no roomservice, no Manager on site after a certain hour. The front door...

Creepy, almost abandoned setting. We had a keyed lock but no dead-bolt on bedroom door so we never felt safe at night. Our room was on the first floor, almost directly opening to a secluded small courtyard area. Scary at night ! Very little sleeping done during our two night stay.We came home exhausted , not refreshed from our stay on beautiful...

You pay a lot to stay at a B&B in Nantucket, that's a given. But one would expect something for your money. At the Pineapple Inn, we shelled out too much money for a room we could barely pass each other in, let alone find anyplace to unpack and store our suitcases. In this, the smallest and least expensive room,...

Guest, I am sorry to learn that we weren't able to meet your service expectations. The Pineapple Inn is a very tiny inn and provides guests with an experience differentiated from those of larger properties. It's reminiscent of having your own space for the weekend; a private guest experience without extensive staff attention. Some of our other Summer House properties...

This Inn is not owner occupied as the others mention - meaning no innkeeper. There is no one to help you with your luggage. No Innkeeper to answer your questions, help you with directions, assist you with daily activities. The place feels like it is owned by a corporation rather than a homy feel. Clearly not worth the price of...
