A last minute decision to spend Easter on Nantucket ! A warm welcome from Madelon always awaits us. The Sherburne is a great location, easy walk to restaurants, waterfront and shops. Room was perfect and breakfast was home made scones, fruit and yogurt. We will be back in May.

Excellent quiet location seconds from Centre Street, wonderful breakfast (fresh cut fruit, homemade granola, yogurt, warm cinnamon bread, butterscotch scones, bagels, unlimited coffee/tea), very friendly and helpful Innkeeper, super comfortable bed...I just loved the Sherburne Inn!

A very charming 1865 house with traditional furnishings. Classic Nantucket hospitality. Great breakfast with a large variety . Very clean and comfortable. Trade off smaller space from hotels for feelings of home. Very well manage place.

A great place to stay. Just a short walk to shops and restaurants. We had stayed at the Inn years ago and it was great then and has not changed. The Innkeeper we just couldn't say enough good things about. She was just wonderful.

Thomas, I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us recently, especially as a repeat guest. We're tried hard to keep all that is wonderful about the inn and then add a few more amenities. And yes, Madelon our innkeeper is a gem!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sherburne Inn. The inn is cozy, inviting, and a very good price. The location can't be beat as you can walk to restaurants, movies, theather, and shops within minutes. The innkeeper Madelon was so welcoming and accomodating which made our stay even more special. She bakes the most wonderful things for...

I had a thoroughly delightful 3 day stay at the Sherburne Inn. It was quiet, charming, beautifully renovated historically, enormously comfortable and homey-- elegant and sophisticated as an environment without being pretentious. I had one of their smaller rooms and it was still light, spacious and airy. I was tempted to move in! The breakfast every morning was delicious and...

My wife and I recently visited Nantucket to celebrate our 15 year anniversary, and we stayed at the Sherburne Inn. We visit Nantucket 2-3 times per year and have stayed almost everywhere on the island. The Sherburne Inn is very nice by Nantucket standards, and Nantucket standards are very high for Inns. It's also a good value for Nantucket. Our...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sherburne Inn. Arriving late in the afternoon of our first day, we were welcomed by inn owner, Karen. She was more than helpful in directing us to local fare for dinner and drinks, all within walking distance. Recommendations, reservations and transportation to dinner for our second night were seamlessly done for us. Each...

Very nice and quaint. Lovely rooms, bath a little tight. Terrific owners, helpful at all times. Great location, close to town but away from noise. Yummy breakfast treats and a wine social hour made stay all the more enjoyable. Definitely will return.

We just returned from 3 perfect days on Nantucket. I found Sherburne Inn (built in 1835) by Internet search. It was even nicer than I hoped for. The Inn Is charming-beautifully decorated. The location is a 10 minute walk from the ferry and convenient to the Whaling Museum, downtown, many restaurants and shops. Our Queen suite room was cozy and...

“Three rooms on the first floor, 4 rooms on the second. I stayed in the first floor petite queen room - 2 windows and a small private bath. It was perfect. My friends stayed in the standard queen room on the first floor - 2 windows plus a private bath with a window...very nice. The king room on the first floor was the most private as it was tucked away in back of the Inn. The 2 queen rooms were right next to each other. Did not see the second floor rooms. This Inn is so close to Town, but on a quiet side street. Perfect...”
