We are *very* happy with our choice of a B&B for our visit to Nantucket this October. We waited until the last minute to book to make sure the weather would be good. We pick Sherburne for the good Tripadvisor reviews and the 25% discount they were offering during their quiet season. Nantucket doesn't allow B&Bs to provide cooked breakfasts...

Sherburne Inn was a cute place that was close enough to the dock so that we walked with rolling luggage, but far enough from the shoppers and dock traffic to be very quiet. Queen bed was really comfortable, and the atmosphere and decor was splendid. Music in the public areas was relaxing and beautiful. The Jamaican maid, Kellee, was a...

On their website it said the room that I booked was large enough for three people and included continental breakfast. The room was barely large enough for one person not to mention three. There was no continental breakfast even though they left a sign in the bedroom that a basket would be delivered to your room between 8-8:30 am. I...

I feel so disappointed when any of our guests are unhappy with their Nantucket visit. It is a rare occurrence and the first of this season that we know about. No doubt there is a lot of information to take in when visiting Nantucket for the first time. Since we are open year-round, we have seasonal changes in rates, amenities,...

A beautifully presented inn in quiet street yet so close to all the action. The Sherburne is run to perfection but in such a warm, welcoming and relaxed way. The breakfast basket delivered to the door each morning was a real luxury, the coffee was excellent and the many little treats provided by Susan made our stay extra special and...

From the attractive crisp white sheets and beautifully laundered towels to the tempting breakfast so attractively presented, Susan should be very proud of the welcoming ambiance of Sherburne Inn. A must if you are staying over in that very special town of Nantucket.

After much research, partly on Tripadvisor, we plumped for The Sherburne Inn. We were vindicated! It's a short bag drag from the ferry port, through the quaint streets full of upmarket shops. On arriving early, we were able to leave our chattels in order to expore the town. We spent so much time in The Whaling Museum that we only...

Cleanest inn I have ever stayed in, linens and furniture were all very clean, pretty and well maintaned. We stayed in Room 3. it was a small small room, think of a cabin on a cruise ship, and the bathroom was very small. if you are very large, pick another room in the Inn. But if you can stay at...

I'll must admit that the 4 days we spent in Nantucket had the most perfect weather that has ever existed. So our outlook was rosy. But even without perfect weather, the Sherburne is exactly what a simple Nantucket Inn should be. Our room was small (it's an OLD house), but charming and completely equipped with what we needed. The owner...
