We really enjoyed our stay at the Brass Lantern. It's a lovely historic inn, nicely furnished, very comfortable, and just a short walk from the ferry terminal, town center, and whaling museum. The perfect place from which to explore the town. Scott, the manager, could not have been more helpful. Sharon, who prepared the delicious breakfast (continental but generous, with...

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay at the Brass Lantern! Thank you for your kind comments about the Inn and for complimenting Scott and Sharon specifically. Insider tip - the Brant Point, your room at the top of the Inn with its wonderful view of Nantucket Harbor, and all the rooms in the Garden Wing, are slated for...

I am delighted to sing the praises of the Brass Lantern Inn in Nantucket. From the moment I stepped out of a howling nor'easter into the inviting and spacious entry hall I felt instantly transported back in time to a simpler, more gracious era. I was greeted promptly and warmly by 10-year veteran staff member, Sharon, who was very thorough,...

I want to thank the entire staff for their very kind service and hospitality. My family and I took three rooms recently and gave the accommodation, service, food, ambiance an overall rating of 5 out of 5. Scott the general manager and Sharon for the morning breakfast service were our favorites. This is a 17 room B&B that has everything...

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Brass Lantern Inn and would definitely go back. The Inn is beautifully maintained, homey, very comfortable and the breakfast and afternoon tea and cookies delicious. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. It is perfectly located - an easy walk to shopping, great restaurants and the ferry.

Thank you for your excellent review. You have described what the Brass Lantern offers to all our guests on their Nantucket holiday - a warn welcome, a comfortable, clean and well appointed guestroom and common areas, food and refreshments to delight, and a 'home' from which guests can experience all of Nantucket's charms - even in November! We look forward...

Michelle Langlois and the staff at the Brass Lantern could not have done more to give us an enjoyable experience at their inn. Originally intending to book for just one night, we were caught in a major storm that shut down the ferries for our return ride home. Sharon, in the office, was vigilant about keeping us updated on the...

My husband & I take a few days off from our jobs and our sheep farm to visit the Cape each year. We decided on a Nantucket visit this year and were so pleased to find the Brass Lantern Inn as a dog friendly lodging. Our Border Collie & Shetland Sheepdog felt at home as much as we did. Historic...

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Brass Lantern Inn. Went in the "shoulder" season so the prices were more affordable. My husband and I stayed four evenings. Everything was clean at all times. Breakfast was scrumptious - varied muffins, scones, yogurt, fruit, granola, and juices! Staff were most courteous. Definitely a do-it-again place!

Our party of ten ranged in age from my 78 year old parents to my early twenties niece. We had 5 rooms, each different and only one had a smaller than average bathroom. Thank you for your review - we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay - we love our scones too! Most guests who stay in your room watch TV from the couch - but, you are right, not a great view from the bed. We are planning to mount a larger TV on the wall during our winter renovation to...
